I think one of the biggest mistakes ever made, arguably in American history, was not putting Donald J. Trump in jail for the crimes he committed. The consequences of today are a direct result of the failure to imprison him for his 88 criminal charges.

@MikeBales Ah, Mike, every damned fool is "proud" of something these days, but dignity? That's a whole different kettle of fish!

Democrats need to understand: Decent Americans reject open borders, men in women’s sports and locker rooms, and leaders who claim men can get pregnant. They don’t want billions of their tax dollars sent overseas, drag queen story time in schools, or gender surgery for 8-year-olds. This agenda has destroyed your party and its dignity.

Look at like this,Bub, If you could work for $5,000 an hour and you only spent 1 hour per week working, you still couldn't afford to live in most US cities. Therefore, an hourly rate is meaningless. The only things that matter are total income and total living expenses. The government can't regulate either one, despite our beloved Democrats trying to regulate both!

The reason our system of rampant Capitalism isn't sustainable is cuz it relies on infinite growth & we are a finite planet. I dont know the best alternative to it but i shouldn't need one in order to point this out.

One conspiracy theory I genuinely believe is that the government puts agents out on the road to create traffic. It’s incredible how traffic magically starts because one ignorant NPC is too scared to drive even 10 mph over the speed limit.

Corporations spend millions lobbying to weaken labor laws and environmental protections, then cry about ‘overregulation’ when anyone tries to stop them from poisoning rivers or exploiting workers. The game was rigged from the start.

@jcarberrydean @ChrisMurphyCT The term "living wage" is meaningless since people's personal situations vary widely from one to another. The point is, TO GET GOOD PEOPLE, YOU HAVE TO PAY THEM WELL. The market decides the rate, and we get what we pay for irregardless of a govt mandated minimum wage.

@Still_AOK @ChrisMurphyCT When you add the tips to the $30/hr does it equate to a living wage in that region? If so, I don’t see anything wrong with that model.

Today I introduced legislation to require that the minimum wage be a living wage. $25 an hour is what’s required for a full time worker to pay their bills, and we shouldn’t accept that full time work leaves people living in poverty.

@0xDavecryps 1) Evidently, you don't own a house. 2) Would you deny someone good luck if they inherited a property? 3) The term "earned" vs "unearned" is used to determine the proper tax rate, only. Your "HOT TAKE" is hotly uninformed.

HOT TAKE: If you inherit a mortgage free property and charge $2,700 a month in rent, you’re not getting rich from hard work. You didn’t create the asset. You didn’t assume the risk. You didn’t spend years paying it off. But the teacher, nurse, or mechanic renting it is expected to work 40+ hours a week to fund your monthly paycheck. And somehow that’s called “earning” money. Make it make sense.

@electerika Let's see if I understand. I rent an apt from a property owner at an agreed upon monthly price. I pay the rent every month. If I don't like a rent increase I am free to move. Hdoesn't. the government have any right to adjust/negate a private transaction? It doesn't!

The real estate industry killed rent control before it could ever reach the ballot because they knew they were going to lose, with over 124,000 volunteer-collected signatures and over 60% support in poll after poll.

America has always been a country for the rich and powerful elite. They sold the American Dream to attract more foreigners into becoming wage slaves and convinced young Americans to take on six figure debt for meaningless degrees, only to spend the rest of their lives working to pay it off. In America, you’re either rich or you’re a peasant.

Elon Musk has created massive wealth. It’s wealth, it’s not cash. It represents an accumulation of assets that are being used to create goods and services for all. Some want to take this and give it away to be consumed by others. It’s called “eating your seed corn.” A perfect way to guarantee a smaller crop, less growth and lower standards of living for everyone. Socialism creates more equality by making “everyone” poor. Except for the leaders, of course, who will somehow take more from this system.

I'm sorry but if you're an adult man making $24k a year you're just a loser. You can have no qualifications and make more money than that. There's a 0% chance it's someone else's fault that you're making $24k a year as an adult man. It's a you problem. You are not very useful.

Growing up, I didn't always have a bed. But I always had a home. Millions of Americans are desperate for that kind of stability and President Trump just ripped it away from them. I'm going to block all Republican House bills until Mike Johnson sends the ROAD to Housing Act to the White House.

They spend more on one aircraft carrier than it would take to build affordable housing for an entire city, then tell veterans sleeping on the street to ‘pull themselves up.’ Military budget is sacred but human needs are ‘socialism.’ Make it make sense.

The economy isn’t bad, it’s working as intended. These people print money out of thin air. If they wanted to make things cheaper, they would. They are deliberately making shit expensive so you can die from stress and live in a constant state of fight or flight. All apart of their depopulation agenda. The elites see you only as a cockroach. They hate seeing you happy, living your life, and making money.

@0xDavecryps The fallacy of this argument is exactly it's premise, "everyone gets replaced by AI."

If AI replaces millions of workers and paychecks disappear, who exactly is left to buy what these companies are selling? Businesses need customers. Customers need income. If technology wipes out the first part of that equation, doesn’t the entire economic model start breaking apart? Maybe I’m missing something, but “everyone gets replaced by AI” sounds less like a revolution and more like a system headed for a wall.
