How is committing blasphemy a freedom, @kushal_mehra? If you are so pro-blasphemy, then why do you cry when unfortunate incidents of vandalism occur against Hindu temples by Khalistanis “allegedly”? Would you not bat an eye at any desecration of Hindu scriptures or articles of faith? I would very much support the protection of all religions against blasphemy.

This individual showed up to a Sikh Nagar Kirtan and casually dismissed it as an “Indian gathering” a remark that is either deliberately provocative or rooted in sheer ignorance. Either way, it reflects a fundamental lack of understanding. Sikh identity is distinct, with its own history, beliefs, and sovereignty of thought. Reducing a Sikh religious and cultural procession to a generic national label is not just inaccurate, it’s disrespectful. If you’re going to step into a space that holds deep meaning for a community, the bare minimum is to understand what you’re looking at. Sikhs are not Indian!
