.@LeaderJohnThune is a traitor to the American people and should not even be allowed to serve as a Senator. 🤬 We must have new leadership @SenMikeLee
Tony Seruga@TonySeruga

Around 2 to 3 a.m. on March 27, 2026, while most Americans were asleep, while the country assumed its elected officials were either negotiating in good faith or standing firm on principle, the United States Senate quietly slipped a knife into the process. Five senators. That is all it took. You, John Thune, the Majority Leader (R) Eric Schmitt (R) Bernie Moreno (R) Mazie Hirono (D) Andy Kim (R) A skeleton crew. Designed for speed. For silence. For escape. And with that, by unanimous consent, by voice vote, with no roll call, no recorded accountability, no visible opposition, you passed a PARTIAL Department of Homeland Security funding bill. No ICE funding. No CBP funding. At 3 a.m., with five people in the room, the United States Senate passed a bill that stripped funding from the very agencies responsible for immigration enforcement. And you did it without forcing ANYONE to go on record. No names. No votes. No fingerprints. Just a quiet chorus of “aye” in a room so empty it practically echoed. And then you slinked back into the night. This is how power protects itself. With procedure. With timing. With the kind of technical maneuvering that sounds boring enough that most people will tune it out. But they should not tune this out. Not this time. Because buried inside this particular procedural maneuver is something far more revealing than any speech on the Senate floor. It is SURRENDER. I know what you’ll say... open.substack.com/pub/tonyseruga…

Saudi Prince MbS reveals that President Obama gave Iran $150 billion, and the IRGC didn’t even build a single street with that money. Instead, they made missiles and drones. And they used the funds Obama provided them to finance and arm terrorists like Hamas, Ansar Allah, and Hezbollah. With these funds, Iran offers safe harbor to the leaders of Al Qaeda, including one of Osama Bin Laden’s sons who was indoctrinated into jihadism. Obama is by far the worst man to ever set foot in the Oval Office. The neoliberals like Hillary Clinton, Victoria Nuland, Samantha Power, etc. who ran his administration did so deliberately in order to keep the region destabilized and to use Iran as a buffer to prevent the Gulf states and Israel from amassing too much prosperity. The Arab Spring in turn was their way of creating a refugee crisis that would plunge Europe into financial and social turmoil, the effects of which are plain to see today as they struggle with irreversible demographic change. Chaos is a ladder, and peace is bad for the Democrats. It was the their way of keeping the Middle East down so they could retain the unipolar world order under the neoliberal agenda. The neoliberals did the same with Ukraine, and they tried to do it with Kazakhstan, Belarus, Georgia, Slovakia, Hungary and Poland. And they did so through USAID. Evil, evil stuff.

Jews have been banned from praying on Har HaBayit — the Temple Mount, the holiest site in Judaism — for decades. Not temporarily. Permanently. As policy. No European prime minister has summoned an ambassador over that. No UN resolution. No outrage cycle. Maybe it's time we Jews take what is ours without asking the world what's their opinion about it. It's ours, as it was before and as it always will be. ✡️

I have no idea how or why my entire feed became this alliance between the USA and Japan, and at this point I’m too afraid to ask. Sushi is delicious, cherry blossoms are beautiful, Samurai are cool as fuck, sorry about WW2 and the nuclear bombs. Hope I’m doing this right.

🚨 JUST IN: President Trump, aboard Air Force One, is getting increasingly FED UP with John Thune for saying he “didn’t have the votes” to pass the SAVE America Act “That's part of being a LEADER. You have to GET the votes!” Thune is a total JOKE.

To my American friends, I want to speak from the heart, because this moment truly moved me as a Japanese citizen. When President Trump made that Pearl Harbor joke, it wasn’t just humor to us. It felt like a weight I’d carried my whole life was suddenly lifted. My chest tightened, and honestly, tears came close. For 80 long years, we Japanese have lived under a heavy shadow — the constant expectation to apologize, to reflect, to stay in “guilt mode.” Even though we’re the closest of allies, that old wound never fully healed. We felt bound by the past, by the Constitution America helped write for us, always a little smaller, always needing to prove we were sorry enough. But in that single joke, Trump did something powerful. He turned a painful history into a shared laugh between equals. It was like he was saying: “Hey, it was a long time ago. We’re good. Let’s move forward — as brothers.” No more endless atonement. No more living in the shadow of being the “former enemy.” The curse broke. Japan feels free to stand tall again. Right now, cherry blossoms are blooming beautifully all across Japan. 🌸 This spring, the sakura feels like a perfect symbol — a fresh beginning. Not two nations stuck in old roles, but true equals, proud brothers, shoulder to shoulder, ready to build the future together. To the American people: We don’t want to be subordinates forever. We want to be your real partners — strong, proud, and loyal. The kind of allies who ride or die together. Thank you, Mr. President. Thank you, America. The strongest alliance in the world is rising again — as equals, as brothers, forever. #PhoenixRising 🇯🇵🤝🇺🇸🌸

Orthodox Christianity? The sad part is that Orthodox Christianity are hardcore addicts of something they seem to enjoy and celebrate, and they've done this for many centuries: Supersessionism. Romans 11 contains a very sobering warning for those who persist in their arrogance over the promises of God for a re-grafting of the Jewish people. Whatever "cut off" means exactly, I do not know. But, it doesn't sound good. Sobering.

My wife and I are nearly finished removing all the leaven (chametz) from our home. It’s no small task to clear out every trace of leaven! As I think about how the New Testament compares leaven to sin, I can’t help but ask: if it’s this hard to remove physical leaven from our homes, how much harder is it to root out sin from our own lives? Thank God for Yeshua, who took all of our “leaven” upon Himself on the cross so that we might truly be made unleavened. 1 Corinthians 5:7 Therefore purge out the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, since you truly are unleavened. For indeed Messiah, our Passover, was sacrificed for us.

King? Well, but. Jesus is the one who returns to earth to destroy the enemies of Israel and then assume the throne of David as King. Until then, He has all authority, but is not exercising all of that authority. If He were, there would be no alliance of nations zealous to destroy Israel, the only country God has a covenantal relationship with.

The Roman mother-son cult has an expiration date, friend. >> The Second Coming. When the Jewish Messiah returns to earth to reign as King from Jerusalem, there will be no other pagan religions. Catholicism is set to be eradicated, and this is to the glory of God. Time is short; flee the cult to the authentic Jesus.

If you haven’t heard, and even if you have, Jimmy Kimmel said this about Markwayne Mullin, former Senator from Oklahoma, and our newest Secretary of Homeland Security: “We have a plumber now protecting us from terrorism.” Apparently, there has been some backlash. Plumbers were offended, obviously, as were parents of plumbers, spouses of plumbers, children of plumbers, and millions of people who have had a plumber show up when they needed one. Comedians were also offended, (the funny ones, anyway,) along with a surprising number of terrorists - especially those with access to hot and cold running water. However, in spite of the ensuing kerfuffle, @jimmykimmel doubled down. “I’m not upset that the head of Homeland Security was a plumber,” he said, “I’m upset that he isn’t still a plumber." He further elucidated by adding, "I wouldn't put a plumber in charge of Homeland Security for the same reason I wouldn't call a five-star general to pull a rat out of my toilet, OK? We all have our areas of expertise.” Being offended is always a choice, and I don’t choose to be offended by a joke, even one that comes at the expense of the skilled tradespeople my foundation tries to elevate. But I am a tad butt hurt by the suggestion that skilled workers should never evolve into something new, and that competence is somehow limited to one vocation. Obviously, expertise and skill are important. If I need a new kidney, I’d prefer a doctor do the surgery, not a late-night talk show host. But if the doctor in question used to host a talk show, why would I hold that against him? Ten years ago, during one of the presidential debates, @MarcoRubio answered a workforce-related question by arguing that America needed to get shop class back into high schools. He concluded by saying, “What our country needs are more welders and fewer philosophers.” A lot of people on this page commented that Rubio and I were singing from the same hymnal, but in fact, we weren’t. At least not entirely. Because I don’t think the current shortage of welders has anything to do with an overabundance of philosophers. In fact, I think it’s a mistake to promote one vocation at the expense of the other. What we really need in this country, are more welders who can talk intelligently about Aristotle, and more philosophers who can run an even bead. More Generals, in other words, who can fix their own toilets, and more plumbers who can hold a powerful government job. This is what Mullin did. He was a private citizen who mastered an essential skill and then turned that skill into a multi-million-dollar company that employed a lot of people and served a lot of customers. That gave him the freedom to do other things with his life, including a career in public service which got him into Congress, where he’s spent the last eleven years doing whatever Congressmen do. Now, he has a very consequential position in the Cabinet of the current administration. Is that not the embodiment of the American Dream? I get that Jimmy Kimmel might have a problem with Mullin’s politics, but what possible objection could he have about the trajectory of his career, or his desire to do more than one thing with his life? The only sensible thing to do in the wake of a moment this tone deaf, is remind America that the skills gap is wide, and getting wider. The shortage of skilled tradespeople is now headline news and closing it is nothing less than a matter of national security. This year, my foundation has set aside $10 million dollars to help train the next generation of plumbers, and lots of other essential workers. I'm talking about hundreds of thousands of AI-proof, six figure jobs that don't require a four-year degree, waiting to be filled. The money is currently available to anyone who wants to master a useful skill at mikeroweworks.org. Apply today. As for those of you genuinely offended by Kimmel's comments, consider expressing your disappointment with a modest donation to mikeroweWORKS. Our work ethic scholarship is making a real difference, and your money will be well spent, I promise. The donate button is big and red and hard to miss, at mikeroweworks.org I’d love to chat but I’ve gotta pull a rat out of my toilet…

It’s February 2007, I’d been in Afghanistan for about 6 weeks. This was the most stressful moment of my life. I was there as an orthopedic trauma surgeon and deployed to Bagram. I had just turned 40 years old and was relatively new in my surgical career. The operations tempo was high and we were pretty inundated with trauma every day. Little kids getting legs blown off by landmines, IED explosions and rocket blasts were pretty common. We were in a tiny hospital made out of plywood with a tin roof. We had 2 operating rooms that were basically Connex boxes and I had to constantly hunch over so my head didn’t wack into the OR lights. My surgical partner Dr Tom Large (pictured along with me and Dr Claude Hawkins our commander ) and I operated every single day often 14-16 hours a day due to non stop trauma either locally or shipped in as we were the main referral hub for the war theater. We often had various politicians stoping by the facility for photo ops and in February we had the vice president coming by. Apparently the Taliban had gotten intel on his visit and wanted to try and make a statement of possibly kill him. As the base was on high alert they had no chance of success but that did not deter them. Routinely we would have dozens of locals with their young kids hanging outside our main gates because we often would give them food, clothing and other resources. A suicide bomber decided that this is where the statement would take place. We were in the OR doing our usual trauma stuff when we were alerted that a mass casualty even had occur at our gate. The bomber approach the crowd of locals and detonated his suicide vest. Immediately 20 or so were killed with another 25 to 30 severely injured. The suicide vests often contained things like screws, ball bearing, nails etc.. often covered in feces to increase the lethality via infection for those that survived the blast. The ER was full of frenetic activity as the medics scrambled to resuscitate, triage and treat as many people as possible. The triage for a mass casualty event looks is designed to sort the wounded into three categories. 1. Unsalvageable, not going to live, massive wounds, exposed brain or something similar 2. Injured but not critical, can wait a bit for the OR- broken bones, limb injuries etc 3. Critically injured but potentially can be saved. Often belly bleeding- if we can get them to the OR, open them up and find the bleeding and stop it we can resuscitate them It was the 3rd group that we were focused on as surgeons. My specialty was orthopedics and I had plenty to do to keep me busy for the next 40 or so hours with all the broken bones and extremity trauma that was coming in, but the initial task was to try and help save the wounded with the belly trauma and so we were scrubbed and assisting our general surgeons in finding the bleeding and shutting it down. We had been at in for about an hour or so and the patient on the table was a local afghan civilian who was going to die if we didn’t stop the bleeding. There were about 5 of us packed into the tiny little Connex box/OR and were frantically digging through this guys intestine looking for bleeders. This is, as you might imagine a bit stressful, but then a nurse comes into the room and lets us know, that they think there is another suicide bomber in the hospital and they are recommending we evacuate. A common ploy used by the Taliban was to set off a bomb, wait for the first responder and then detonate a second bomb to kill them as well. The tension in the room was palpable, I think everyone’s butt cheeks clenched up, I know mine did. The general surgeon looked at all of us, the other surgeons, the scrub tech, or nurse and anesthesiologist and said what do you guys want to do? Evacuate or keep going and try and save this guy. Without hesitation every single one of said “fuck it, keep going, let’s save this guy” For the next twenty minutes we operated as quickly …..

The more people believe they’re just animals that evolved from apelike creatures, the more they’ll view humans as having no more value than animals. The more human life is devalued, the more we’ll see abortion and euthanasia treated as just getting rid of a living being who has no more value than an animal. A good example of how people are being brainwashed to believe humans are just animals can be seen in our local zoo which tells children at the ape enclosure that they’re “visiting their family.” As they read one of the signs, they’re told, “There is no sharp line dividing us from the chimpanzees and the other apes. . . . We humans are a part of, and not separate from, the animal kingdom.” Thus they’re indoctrinated to believe they’re of no more value than a chimp. This is why we have the Ararat Ridge Zoo at the @ArkEncounter, along with live animal programs at both the Ark and @CreationMuseum, so we can teach guests to think about animals from a biblical worldview perspective. We encourage Christian families to come to the Ark and Creation Museum to learn about animals so they won’t be led astray by false evolutionary teaching that permeates zoos, museums, etc. From a biblical worldview perspective, humans are different from animals. Only human beings are made in the image of God. “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness” (Genesis 1:26).
