Other than the irrigation opportunities to be created along the 450km pipeline to Bulawayo via the Gwayi-Shangani dam, the project will end for good the City of Kings’ water woes. Phase 1 is the Gwayi-Shangani Dam construction, phase 2 is the pipeline from the dam to Bulawayo.
