This morning I woke up an immigrant on a green card. By lunch I had naturalized and became an American citizen. By dinner I had exercised my right to vote in this #ElectionDay Today was a busy day, but #IVoted for the first time in my life!

@MushtaqBilalPhD @TheKevinDalton He wasn’t on the road. He was on a path for pedestrians. This is 40mph not kph. You don’t expect a 64kph vehicle to be on an area for walking. I ride all the time. We are use to them. We’re also use to ignorant Europeans who think they’re better than the rest of the world.

@TheKevinDalton This would never happen in Denmark because drivers are used to watching out for cyclists. Most American drivers have never encountered cyclists, so sharing the road with them doesn't occur to drivers.

What are pieces of software where the people who make them obviously don't use them? I'll go first – Jira Cloud.

@Palakonweb You have literally no clue what you’re talking about. Here’s some answers to your examples. - subversion - ftp - fiddler, jmeter - bbs - visual studio, eclipse - bootstrap, nested tables - heroku - garmin, map quest, telemap, heck just a fucking regular map.

If GitHub didn’t exist, sharing code would still be “bro send the final_final.zip” If Figma didn’t exist, designers would still send 47 PNGs in a Drive folder. If Postman didn’t exist, API testing would be pure guesswork. If Stack Overflow didn’t exist, half of developers wouldn’t survive day 1. If VS Code didn’t exist, coding would feel 10x slower. If Tailwind didn’t exist, we’d still waste hours aligning a button. If Vercel didn’t exist, deployment would still feel like a boss fight. If Google Maps didn’t exist, we’d all be lost with “take a left near the tree. Crazy how one tool can change an entire industry.

My #cat has to sleep next to her favorite toys. Sometimes I’ll pick them up to clean and they always wind up back at her bed. 🥺🥺🥺

You are building a microservice that handles read and write operations, but the write operations cause significant delays for read requests. How can you optimize this?
