How many of them with big accounts can engage in meaningful real life discussions that requires both intelligent and rational thinking. I am going to tackle this from a few perspectives. As a manager, I have done my share of hiring and resume reviews. I personally look for a few things from candidates, and for perspective my hiring range as 60-85k range. -Company loyalty, 3-5 years+ -Growth within those companies, promotions -Personal growth, side projects and hobbies that have goal attainment. This could be your Gitlab or your boxing history. Are you doing the damn thing? You need to show off your skills, growth, and development in ways that companies can easily interpret as solving problems and/or making you a good leader--which also solves problems. Additionally, it gives hiring managers confidence knowing you aren't just capable of doing your job, you are capable of more.

You are hiring frontend engineer and you see this. What do you do?

@EmmanuelBuilds @JackedBasedMgr @pavelsvitek_ we only hire people that have a solid foundation in what they do and can leverage that knowledge/skills using AI to maximise their value, output and efficiency of that output plus prioritising UX, usability and aesthetics to make an appealing product over just devs that code

@JackedBasedMgr @miguelsantafe @pavelsvitek_ Do you think employers need those that are really good at using AI. Why can’t you resume without Ai management be good enough?

I need to start considering how to "advertise" my growing claude/cursor resume without it overly signaling that I am looking for an employer that will pay me more. My crossover section would be AI and Team Management. I am doing a lot of work right now, on my team and others, managing KB article databases and using AI to design/modify/update. I am also and more interestingly designing automation systems to track KPIs and send reminder emails and reward emails to team members--freeing up the manager from having to create these reports. Something like pictured.

@BlehisBack probably because you attach your self worth to the work you do. it's not a bad thing in itself but can have negative effects. it's common amongst people who were labeled as intelligent while growing up
