My point is it’s crazy to tell a Pokémon fan who enjoyed every main series game up to that point “this isn’t for you” is idiotic Nobody even looks back fondly on LGPE for the most part, and most seem to agree FRLG are better(even Nintendo said this)

@TheFonzPart @Rage_Crayon @NBinted Oh yeah meant BDSP when I wrote LGPE. And no, that is just objectively wrong since friendship is capped once the happiness max threshold is reached. You do not get affection bonuses if you do not grind for them.

@TheFonzPart @Rage_Crayon @NBinted It is entirely optional. The only game to not cap it is LGPE and the legends games flat out do not have it in any way. If you have affection bonuses, you grinded for them.

Honestly anipoke has had this issue from the start, the writers deadass DONT know how to write female characters. They just repeat the same “she’s not interested in pokemon until she meets ash” shit over and over; the only exceptions to this imo is Lillie and pre-timeskip liko -

The only issue was them wanting to release a game every year and not having time to do it. If they did it in a more graceful way, people would be less upset They lied to fans with PR speak, and did it in a horrible way hoping it would just be ignored and swept under the rug

@TheFonzPart @Zgammer2000 @linkkling However you twist and turn it, dexit was going to happen at one point or another. I was already baffled they were able to do nat dex in usum. Keeping 1000+ pokes in wad never feasible. Tho arguments like making the shiny charm being easier are kinda stupid.
