@JayJay2nice Because people will get on here and swear Lebron isn’t top-10 all time. He’s the goat, and the only players ever with an argument are MJ and Kareem.

If Kyrie made the block instead of LeBron it wouldn’t be talked about as much as mfs talk about it today but if Bron hit the shot Kyrie made in the finals it would’ve been deemed the “greatest shot in NBA history”😭

@6Hogg6 This works if Emmitt also had a higher ypc, was a way better receiver out of the backfield, and occasionally played WR and QB at the highest level.

LeBron is the Emmitt Smith of the NBA - Great player, all-time longevity stats. On paper, he should be the greatest running back of all time. On paper. But in reality, if you watched him and Barry Sanders, no one in their right mind is picking Emmitt over Barry. The way Barry moved, we have yet to see anyone else move like him 30 years later just like we have yet to see anyone move like Jordan.

@Tonyww240 @DogeRomeo @getnickwright Nope. I agree with what I’ve seen, and I saw Kobe shoot his team out of games, refuse to shoot, and refuse to pass. And I’ve seen Lebron do EVERYTHING you can do a court at a high level. Lebron clears. EASILY

@LeekNabers They’re all pathetic excuses, but the “Tatum was injured” is hilarious because they beat a better Celtics team when he was healthy. Embiid being injured is extra hilarious because he’s always injured

- Hali injured - not playing against Thibs ball anymore would’ve lost in 5 or 6 if he even got to play us - Tatum injured - already beat him last year when he had a better team - Embiid injured - the only game they came close to us was with Embiid actually out they were better without him - Trae Young traded - he’s ass and the hawks were better without him - Faced worst ECF team ever - the 2023 Miami heat, the 2021 Atlanta hawks, the 2015 Atlanta hawks, all are worse just in the past 11 years - Faced teenagers in the Finals - the same team that beat the former reigning champions with the back to back MVP of the league on their team, and the team that people said would sweep us or beat us in 5 at the MOST
BENN@BennHoops

- Hali injured - Tatum injured - Embiid injured - Trae Young traded - Faced worst ECF team ever - Faced teenagers in the Finals Is this the most fraudulent ring of all-time? 🤔

@JoeRoganRecaps “Show the world how to beat fighters…” punch him in the face really, REALLY hard many, many times and don’t get knocked out when that guy punches you in the face and body really, REALLY hard many times… not exactly a groundbreaking strategy, but very hard to replicate

Joe Rogan Recaps@JoeRoganRecaps·
New: Joe Rogan just sat down with UFC champion Justin Gaethje who dropped the cold truth that Ilia Topuria may never become champion again: ROGAN: “Ilia still might go down as the greatest fighter of all time. He’s only 29 years old.” GAETHJE: “The odds of that happening are so low now.” ROGAN: “Because he lost to you?” GAETHJE: “He has the skills to do it, but I broke his identity. I did the same thing to Tony Ferguson. When you show the world how to beat fighters that look unbeatable it changes how future opponents will perceive them. His opponents will have confidence now because they know he’s beatable.” ROGAN: “That’s interesting. That was what happened to Mike Tyson in his prime and also guys like Anderson Silva and Ronda Rousey.” GAETHJE: “It’s going to be such a tough task now that he has to fight people that aren’t scared of him.” ROGAN: “The reports are saying that he has two fractured orbitals and a broken nose.”

@nateburleson Wherever you’re born, you’re in America now, and Juneteenth is all of our holiday (I’m white by the way) Trying to take away celebrating what Juneteenth is is just asinine and at least borderline racist, if not full-blown racism

It really be your own people sometimes… 🤦🏾‍♂️ Google gave you my birthplace, not my biography. Yes, I was born in Calgary, because my mom went into labor earlier than expected while visiting my father, who was playing in the CFL at the time. I was supposed to be born in Seattle, where we lived at the time. I’m the only person in my family born outside the U.S. My parents are from San Francisco, and our family roots are spread throughout the South. By the way, I am a descendant of enslaved Americans with lineage that traces to Copiah County, Mississippi, among other places. So while you found my birthplace, you clearly missed my story! #HappyJuneteenth ✊🏾
Hojo67🇺🇸@ados_strong

Juneteenth is not your celebration, Nate. Nate Burleson was born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. At the time, his father, Al Burleson, was playing defensive back for the Calgary Stampeders of the Canadian Football League (CFL). His oldest brother, Alvin Jr., played college football for the University of Washington Huskies and the Western Illinois University Leathernecks.

As everyone gets excited for US Men's Soccer, keep in mind that they have never won a World Cup and still get celebrated as the default US soccer team while the women's team has won 4 cups and barely gets recognition on a national stage. Mediocre men will always outshine outstanding women, as long as the patriarchy controls everything.

@WhozMEECH Efficiency is overrated? Thats the 2nd dumbest basketball take I’ve heard this week behind “the Larry O’Brian trophy is a participation trophy.” But it’s close

The biggest knock on Kobe is that he wasn’t efficient. It’s flawed reasoning when factoring that there’s no data that proves efficiency leads to winning. Especially in the 2000s. Dirk shot 42%FG in the finals against the Heat. He’s celebrated. Kobe shot 41%FG in the Finals against the Celtics. They say he was horrible. Brunson just won the finals and FMVP on 42%FG efficiency. He’s regarded as a superhero. THE SO PROTECTED P.R. BULLET PROOF LEGACY of Tim Duncan shot an impressive 42%FG at CENTER and won FMVP in 2005 Last year SGA shot 44%FG and 24%3PT for the final and won FMVP and was glazed all year and back to back MVP. Paul Pierce won 2008 FMVP, a 43%FG Jaylon Brown, 44FG% as the FMVP in 2024 MICHAEL JORDAN in 1998, FMVP at 43%FG, he again shot 42%FG in 1996 as the FMVP. Efficiency is the most overrated stat in the sport.
