Korrra being the only known avatar to actually know how to metal bend thats why becomes so impressive. Earthbending is already one of the most oppressive elements because of its defense, terrain control, and raw battlefield dominance, then metalbending and lavabending push it into another level entirely. Fully integrate metalbending into her combat style is such a huge deal. She’s not just using earth traditionally, she’s using one of the most advanced and civilization-changing sub-skills ever created by , which massively expands her versatility compared to previous Avatars 😭

@ClaireMax I feel you on audiobooks, so easy to just tune out the audio book and start thinking about other stuff. I also find the album American Idiot ends up background noise for me. No idea why. I think the song Stairway to Heaven does the same.

My book-reading habits are ENTIRELY tied to my ADHD. -I primarily read ebooks on my iPad because I can get book immediately instead of Waiting For Book or having to leave my house to acquire book -ebooks also mean so many book fits in iPad! Easy to read many at once! -audiobook no. Becomes background noise. Cannot focus. -will buy book if cover pretty. May not ever read book

I’m perfectly fine with sexy character designs, it would be extremely hypocritical of me to say otherwise, considering what I draw. But these designs feel extremely generic and uninspired. They look like something straight out of a P2W Korean MMO from a decade ago rather than a carefully crafted dark fantasy world with rich characters and lore The developer’s repeated attempts to say things like “this is what gamers actually want” and “this is consistent with our lore” also reek of major insecurity. All that tells me is that you’re not confident enough in these designs to let them speak for themselves

@TrippDinger @StasisGame No. You started rattling off single player games in a completely different genre. Uncharted 4: ~17h Tomb Raider (2013): ~10-15h The Last of Us: ~12-16h Indiana Jones/Great Circle: ~14h Residet Evil 9: ~15h InFAMOUS Second Son: ~10-25h First Light will be in good company.

20 hours of content for a single player experience is insane. Every Star Wars movie back to back is 25 hours. The LOTR extended cuts are 11 hours total. Throw in The Hobbit to get to the 20 hour mark. 10 average James Bond films will get you to 20 hours. That’s just under half the entire catalog. Open world games really did a number on the perception of expected play time with games.
