FAILING GRADE: Education advocates urge stronger national civics standards as new data highlights gaps in students’ understanding of American government ahead of a federal assessment update. The latest "Nation's Report Card," released in 2022, found just 22% of eighth graders proficient in civics, while 31% scored below basic. The group "Defending Education" urges the new assessment prioritize the Constitution and America’s founding principles, warning weak standards and a focus on DEI are driving a “wave of activism” and turning students into “pawns in someone else’s game.”

Education is not a partisan issue – it’s a national emergency!

A fourteen-year-old can take the initiative to build a business, interview thought leaders, identify problems in her community. But for six hours a day she's told to sit still and wait for permission to think. This is training in passivity disguised as school. When you give young people agency, they don't collapse into idleness. They create. They build. They take on responsibility. The "they're not mature enough" argument has it backwards. Immaturity is trained into them.

Finished our taxes and came to a realization: In a two-physician household, one spouse's income is entirely confiscated by the government.

The SAT is actively censoring the Western tradition. We analyzed all the SAT papers we could find... There were zero Christian authors mentioned. Zero. Students are graduating without any understanding of what or who built Western Civilization.

Harvard circa 1700s: "No student shall be admitted unless they can translate Greek and Latin authors such as Tully, Virgil, The New-Testament, & Xenophon." Harvard circa 2026: "We can't assign whole novels anymore."
