Chat, I have to do a weird rant opinion thingy and I hope someone understand what I'm saying. I've noticed a strange phenomena where people who grew up poor have this weird mentality like, they feel they're not good enough to not be poor? I was "poor" growing up, not poor-poor living in a shack, but money was definitely tight and sometimes dinner sucked. Anyway, I've met TONS of people who come from lower class families and lives, and who act scared to try to pivot into cybersecurity, or computer-science in general. I don't know if it's self-esteem, or some weird internal thingie on classism, I don't know. Maybe I sound crazy. Maybe someone smarter than me can convey the idea better. But it 100% happens. I see genuinely intelligent people, definitely capable of performing the type of work I do, end up doing construction or working a dead-end job somewhere and struggling financially and hating their lives because they're not intellectually stimulated. They could do so much more ... but they don't.

I caught something interesting in the reporting on that Newport Beach 'takeover'...a number of those arrested were reported to have come from 'Ontario, Canada and The Netherlands. You know what that's code for...

When you work on your own car, you only spend about 25% of the time actually working on it. The other 75% is spent angrily walking around looking for the tool you literally had in your hand two minutes ago!

RE: Conspiracies One of the great problems in America of the past twenty years or so is that we have seen our government and national media lie to us on such a massive scale that it has become very easy to trust in nothing and to assume that almost everything is a conspiracy. “Trump/Russia Collusion”; “Two weeks to stop the spread”; “If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor”; “Hunter’s laptop is Russian disinformation”; “This is the best version of Joe Biden”; “Saint George Floyd”; the hidden web of NGOs governing our lives into Marxism: it goes on and on and on, with misinformation labeled as the truth and the truth labeled as misinformation, and with the darkest truths purposely hidden from you, the American Voter. I really don’t blame anyone for not trusting in anything or anybody anymore. However, not all conspiracies are created equal. I was reminded of this when I saw Tyler Robinson being compared online to Lee Harvey Oswald. (Tyler Robinson is the man on trial for the assassination of Charlie Kirk. Yes, yes, I know it’s just a “preliminary hearing” and not technically a "trial" just yet but that distinction just obfuscates for non-lawyers.) Look, no matter what you think about the JFK assassination, there are abundant good reasons to be suspicious. A US Marine who was working on classified missile tracking projects defects to the USSR at the height of the Cold War and is allowed to repatriate to the USA with his Russian wife and it’s no big deal? He gets aligned with potentially CIA-related Cuba stuff after JFK won’t authorize air support for the Bay of Pigs? The CIA Director that JFK fired (Allen Dulles) gets appointed to the commission investigating JFK’s death after JFK said he wanted to "splinter the CIA into a thousand pieces and scatter it to the winds”? Three aimed shots in five seconds from a crappy bolt-action Italian war surplus rifle by a guy who was a lousy Marine marksman? The magic bullet? I am not saying that anyone other than Oswald killed JFK. However, if you are someone who questions the narrative, I respect your questions and agree that there are abundant grounds to be suspicious, even if those suspicions prove nothing definitively. Which brings me back to Tyler Robinson. Tyler Robinson is no Lee Harvey Oswald. I am not going to try and debunk every whacko Tyler Robinson conspiracy theory here, and if you want to see that done, @DataRepublican has some good work on it, as do many others. The saying is, “Where there is smoke, there is fire.” There was plenty of smoke surrounding Lee Harvey Oswald—real, legitimate, provable, genuine smoke. The “smoke” around Tyler Robinson is pure fabrication. The trial is proving what I say to be true, as Robinson’s defense team has raised NONE of the crazy theories in his defense, and Robinson legitimately confessed to the crime to his live-in person pretending to be a different gender. Here is my point in writing all of this: Please be discerning in everything you see, hear and read. You have good reason to distrust basically everyone in a position of informational power, but not all conspiracies are created equal. Yes, where there is smoke there is often fire. But be sure the “smoke” you see is, in fact, smoke and not ragebait for clicks designed to make some social media influencer more wealthy than they already are. I believe we should all be as skeptical and discerning with respect to what “influencers” (including me) say as we are of the propagandistic "journalists" in the national media. The truth is out there, but we ALL must be discerning to find it. This was on my mind. Thanks for listening. Now back to our regularly-scheduled Air Canada programming.

Proposed new rule for Florida transplants: 3-year voting blackout until you’ve survived a Category 3 hurricane and stopped complaining about the heat. After that, your vote counts as 0.5. It's honestly the only logical way to preserve the ecosystem. 🥵😎🌴
