Dear @ECISVEEP One writes to you with a certain hesitation, less out of doubt, more out of habit. Old instincts, you see, still expect a referee to notice when the rules are being rewritten mid-game. So, just to update ourselves: has open incitement now been officially reclassified as “spirited campaigning”? Has hate speech graduated into a permissible electoral strategy; perhaps even an innovation worthy of quiet endorsement? If so, do let the citizens know. It would save everyone the trouble of pretending that lines still exist, let alone that they are being crossed. Because when such conduct passes without consequence, it is not merely an oversight, it begins to look like a new rulebook, one where silence is not neutrality but tacit approval. The country, one assumes, is still entitled to clarity. And, in a more hopeful register, perhaps even accountability. Jai Hind

Why should India have been on any negotiating table between US and Iran? Don’t get the criticism as it wasn’t our war. And for Pakistan, it is like that tort who for a fee will say it will resolve the crisis- best described by India’s FM in an all party meeting.

Can’t even expect basic reading and comprehension skills from such morons. Nobody claimed America and Iran agreed to Sharif AFTER seeing the tweet. It was obviously agreed beforehand, and both Tehran and Washington were instrumental in shaping what was posted. Trivia.

I have no hesitation in saying that after defeating America, Iran is now the ultimate “Vishwa Guru” of the world.
