Anytime Boarding can't be limited to Gate entry but has to be extended till Flight Door entry - no point of entering anytime and standing in the queue - the ONLY benefit of Fast Forward is to get to the seat faster/fastest. Not just through the gate door. Fix it!!! @IndiGo6E
English

@IndiGo6E Are you sure the FAST FORWARD is really FAST for the passenger? How we experience it?
You summon/herd us only to bear witness of utter chaos/confusions just prior to boarding commencement - on average I take 7-10 mins to reach my seat after BP scan at gate! Fix it!!!

@beastoftraal Are we assuming Maruti doesn't get Rev Share from Toyota apart from some upfront one-time licensing fee?
What if the Maruti's share that went to Toyota went to say Tata, Hyundai and Mahindra in the absence of this partnership? Would that have made Maruti even worse off?
English

This is really interesting and a good illustration of the outsized influence of brand perception in the automotive sector where engineering parity (which happens between the companies under rebadging) takes a backseat to emotional pull (which happens in the minds of consumers)!
Both companies are largely selling the same set of cars under different badges, but Toyota is capturing more of the value. Invicto Vs. Hycross comparison, in particular, is a telling example: while there's a long waiting list for the latter, the former sold only about 4,000 units and is available immediately despite being the same car... but under Maruti!
This is also textbook case of how brand equity can work against a partnership. Toyota put its badge on Maruti Suzuki cars and gained massively (3.1% to 7.8% market share), while Maruti Suzuki lost ground (49.9% to 40.2%). Toyota essentially got high-volume cars without the massive R&D investment, while Maruti inadvertently created its own competition.

@dmuthuk Muthu's XUV700 is to Mahindra what Maggi Noodles incident was to Nestle! Probably! Muthu ji knows exactly what that means to stock rerating...

Got an update from Mahindra customer care head that senior technical team at Pune has started working remotely on my vehicle in Chennai service centre.
They said that they would go to the root of problems, including checking for rare occurrences and phenomenons. They would eliminate the possibility of problems one by one to go to the root cause.
I got an update from services head too.
I think they are giving importance to this issue and putting their best resources.
We've to see what happens in coming days.
English

@dmuthuk @Random_Gyan Impossible that Coimbatore and Kochi don't figure above Nagpur and Vizag. If Chennai is at 22k then Kovai and Kochi should be in the top 15!
English

Interesting chart shared by @Random_Gyan. As per latest Hurun India wealth report, 8,71,000 families, which is 0.9 million out of 320 million households in India are dollar millionaires. This means the household has a networth of say Rs.9 crores or more, not including primary residence. Here is the city wise break-up:

Being second ONLY to the Wall as India's G#3OAT speaks volumes of your success at the highest levels @cheteshwar1 - Your vigil at the Gabba taking bodyblows before blowing Aussies away will forever remain etched in minds - You were a top fighter champ! Taking blows & facing balls
Sachin Tendulkar@sachin_rt
Pujara, it was always reassuring to see you walk out at No.3. You brought calm, courage, and a deep love for Test cricket every time you played. Your solid technique, patience, and composure under pressure have been a pillar for the team. Out of many, the 2018 series win in Australia stands out, it wouldn’t have been possible without your incredible resilience and match-winning runs. Congratulations on a wonderful career. Good luck for the next chapter. Enjoy your second innings!
English

@anandmahindra Sir, hope you aren't watching the match, I am not and I swear on the Purple Cheetah you built with pride and I have owned with pride for 10+ years now...

@Arun_Golaya There was duality built into the design. At the time of compilation and curation of Problem Statements that get launched as DISC/SPRINT/PRIME/ADITI, P in PDS = Problem, while at the time Winners are announced and Contracts signed P=Project takes over - it never saw adoption.
English

@VishForge The master has spoken & I stand corrected.
I’ve seen both variants being used including on official websites & have always been confused which is the correct one. The DAP uses the ones you mention.
(Even a post by Forge used ‘Problem’ quoting you🤷🏻♂️)

*A 🧵 ABOUT DEFENCE INNOVATION*
Someone asked me a question that forced me to think. He said “You have no understanding of technology. Yet, a vast majority of *successful* @India_iDEX cases are the ones initiated / steered by you @indiannavy #NIIO #TDAC. What explains this?” 1/n

@Arun_Golaya @Arun_Golaya @MoodyNarain Dropping a message I put out recently on the Product thrust of iDEX.

English

@Arun_Golaya PDS=Project Definition Statement & PRU=Product Requirement Unit,
with former ensuring elevation/expansion from point problem statement to broader project scope centred around a capability, while the latter refers to atomic indivisible rqmts that by defn should not be specs!

@ajayrotti @kansaratva Take the metro to Meenambakkam and hail/board the cab there!?
English

The queue for the buggy to take you to the parking is long. I decided to walk to the Aerohub West. It was more painful. Should have stood in the line!! This airport is a mess of a different proportion. @kansaratva
