Yes it was. We actually have that too, it’s known as the Sudarium of Oviedo and and it aligns perfectly with the Shroud.

Most Europeans have no idea how absolutely furious with Europe America is. This is not just another disagreement. Betrayal is not something you just let slide. So you’re claiming Christianity is about peace, empathy, and humility… but the second someone shows basic respect to another religion, you flip into outrage and grandstanding.
That’s the contradiction.
You don’t get to preach humility while acting offended that Islam gets called a religion of peace, or that Ramadan gets acknowledged instead of Easter. If your faith actually stands on those values, it shouldn’t feel threatened by someone else being treated with respect.
Both Christianity and Islam teach compassion. Both have history people argue about. But this reaction? It’s not about defending faith. It’s about ego dressed up as religion.
