Dear @CFL. We see what you are doing... Here's the thing. If people want to watch the American version of football, they will watch the NFL. How did the XFL, USFL etc. do as NFL knockoffs? The #CFL will always have their hardcore fans, and instead of Americanizing OUR game, you should instead be trying to develop more fans of the Canadian game. The new commish is a paid stooge whose job is to slowly turn our game into the NFL north. Be careful what you wish for.

@WaltJr14 @lmoran600 @OverDrive1050 I'd say maybe 40%. It also affects Canadian players coming up who will go on to play in the CFL. Regardless, the comparison is asinine. The whole purpose of having players associations is to consult players on such massive changes. Would never go down like that in the big 4

Milt. People have been predicting the demise of the cfl for decades, and here we are in 2025 still very much alive with the most stable ownership I’ve seen in a long time. No problem with change, but only time will tell if today’s changes are the right ones.

@canadian_xing @FarhanLaljiTSN So the league goes around and asked every coach and every player. Many love the rule change, many hate the idea. So now you’re in a stalemate again and nothing changes. The changes also occurred over two years which means significant roster turnover so players voting won’t see it

Nathan Rourke called the new rule changes “garbage”. Very upset that the players and those involved in the on field product weren’t consulted at all. He’s very disappointed in the commissioner who he’s not convinced loved the game like he does. A lot more there, will post fully soon

Harjinder Singh has been charged with three counts of vehicular homic*de. Singh got his Commercial Driver’s License in the state of California, according to the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles. “Three people lost their lives as a result of his recklessness, and countless friends and family members will experience the pain of their loss forever,” they said. The driver of the minivan was identified as a 30-year-old Florida City man. The two passengers were a 37-year-old Pompano Beach woman and a 54-year-old Miami man.
