I'm @Widget_User. I found I have a passion for making things, so why not a book (or three (coming soon))?

@Level100Sass @Moonlight_myths Im a red head, both parents had brown hair.
I look like a combination of both of them, but for the hair.
English

I do. It’s 100% possible for two brown haired parents to have a red headed child and even a blond haired child explainable through simple Mendelian genetics. Dark hair masks genes coding for lighter hair simply because dark hair is dominant to light hair. His genes contributed to the lighter haired too.

English

My sister gave birth to a red-haired daughter. But she and her husband are both dark-haired. No one in our family has red hair. My sister insists that her husband's great-grandfather was red-haired, and that's how it was passed down. Her husband didn't believe her, especially since she has this one red-haired colleague at work. Anyway, he insisted on a DNA test, which they did after huge fights and screaming matches. My sister threw the paper in his face. It showed 99.9% he's the father. But he still doesn't believe it, says the test could have been faked or someone paid off the lab. He wants to do another one at a different lab, but my sister is afraid this will definitely lead them to divorce He's not even talking to my sister right now. But he says it's better to find out the truth and live with a clear conscience. He doesn't want to raise someone else's child.
I believe my sister 100%, but I have to admit the situation is pretty bizarre. Does anyone know anything about genetics?

Ukrainians who went to the Middle East to teach how to shoot down "shaheds", were horrified by the way the US military does it - The Times
- They launch up to 8 Patriot missiles at a single target
- Sometimes they even use an SM-6 missile ($6 M) to shoot down 1 drone
- Radars often operate without proper camouflage, essentially "shining" like beacons. In Ukraine, however, radars are constantly moved and hidden.
As an example, they cite a case where just three cheap drones destroyed an early detection radar AN/FPS-132 worth about $1 billion and another air defense radar (~$300 million), which had long been stationary and easily tracked by satellites.
But it’s not all bad news for the US military. Pete Hegseth appears to be able to bench press 315 lbs.

@The_Holy_Sea @xWaleP @NAFORaccoon Maybe, it seems unlikely from my perspective. Im not saying you are wrong. But Iran is in the shit right now. Their production is crippled & leadership is constantly harassed.
"If they can keep it up" is a hard ask.
Possible, but that isnt the way to bet.
English

@Widget_user2 @xWaleP @NAFORaccoon You are simultaneously underestimating Iran as well. They are managing to keep up steady pressure on Us/Israeli air defenses. If they can keep it up, this will a problem that will only get worse the longer the war drags on.
English

@The_Holy_Sea @Widget_user2 @NAFORaccoon On top of that your markets are at an absolute ah. Thats sounds good but really isnt. Paired with the astronomical debt and corrupt millitary complex and shiny expensive toys dieing to 50k drones.
Things doesnt look good for a war on the other side of the planet.
English

@cammyk_67 @NAFORaccoon Unfortunately no it isn't.
Our politicians will keep spending until they can't. That day is coming but its not this year or even in the next 5.
English

@Widget_user2 @NAFORaccoon Yes but it’s a factor on the ongoing strategy
English

@reality120938 @NAFORaccoon "Getting your equipment obliterated" which side do you think I'm on? Iran's?
English

@Widget_user2 @NAFORaccoon Yes wasting tax payers money getting your equipment obliterated when the average citizen is struggling is definitely an effective method for fighting in war
English

@gulagthiswaay @AI_EmeraldApple I missed one. I found out I was wrong & deleted what i thought was all of these. Phuq you

@Widget_user2 @AI_EmeraldApple That's aytollahs quote from one of his speech in Feb you rtrd

There has been FLIR footage of a supposed F35 getting shot by an Iranian missile, and I think the footage is FAKE... likely a doctored FLIR video taken from a video game, and shared by the usual suspects of Iranian regime propagandists.
Compare the difference between real, authenticated footage of fighter jets in the sky. Real FLIR is grainy, messy, noisy, and has artifacts. The one from the Iranian regime propoganda is too clean and blurry at the same time. They likely applied a blur/contrast filter to obfuscate the origin of the footage.
It also lacks thermal heat blooming from the engines, and yes, even F-35s show a lot of heat bloom... instead, it's just a "gradient stick" coming from the back of the plane, with no halo effect.
There are no missile contrails, and the exhaust plume from the missile is absent.
The sky is too uniformly "grey" with no background noise or lens effects that create vignetting.
With so many automated systems on the F35, there is a 0% chance that the F35 would have been caught unaware of an incoming missile. It would have taken evasive actions, used countermeasures, EW, etc. Instead, it keeps flying straight even after the explosion, which also looks fake.

English

@Widget_user2 @NAFORaccoon Is his the reason why you dropped double the amount of bombs on Vietnamese jungle than the whole world in WW2?
English

@poju222 @NAFORaccoon Its not the only method of interception we are using.
English

@Widget_user2 @NAFORaccoon I hope defending drones with patriots is not the best you can.
It’s outdated.
English

@The_Holy_Sea @NAFORaccoon ...and we keep killing enemy launchers & using alternate means of interception.
English

@Widget_user2 @NAFORaccoon You are saying that like American munitions production numbers arent a matter of public record. Its not exactly a conspiracy theory that we are running a massive deficit on expenditure vs stocks/production.
English

@rluxem12257 @NAFORaccoon Did I say that somewhere? Am I expected to list everywhere?
English

@Leopard2A6Op @NAFORaccoon Until we run out that is only hypothetical.
Possible sure, but not foregone.
English

@Widget_user2 @NAFORaccoon except usa lacks the capability to produce enough air defence missiles with the amount they use everyday in the middle east.
English

@cammyk_67 @NAFORaccoon The debt isnt because of this conflict.
English

@Widget_user2 @NAFORaccoon 39tn in debt, running out of ammunition after a couple of weeks…..self inflicted global recession/depression looming. Unlimited resources isn’t what you have as an option.
English

@Widget_user2 @NAFORaccoon Yeah the reason we were able to use some much during wwii is that we actually had enough magazine depth and productive capacity to support that volume of fire. That is not the case any more, certainly not for systems like Patriot.
