Some interesting Wealthsimple news. As of today, deposits need to come from another bank, accepting cash through Canada Post would change that.

$CP is guiding for a “low double-digit core adjusted diluted EPS growth versus 2025”. They’re also forecasting a 15% reduction for CapEx for 2026.

Grain revenue was up 7%. Intermodal revenue was up 6%. Intermodal carloads were 8%, happy to see growth here given all the trade and tariff talk from last year.

Strong earnings from $CP today. Revenue for the year was up 4% to 15 billion. EPS was up 13% to $4.51. The company repurchased 17.5 million shares, for a reduction of 1.9%.
