If you earn 50k a year working a job you’ll pay about $7,645 between taxes, social security and Medicare. If you have investments paying 50k a year in qualified dividends you essentially pay nothing. This is part of the reason the rich get richer. $VOO $QQQ $SCHD.

You have two options when stocks are down? A) Hold- Logical, never a bad idea B) Buy more- this is when you are getting a discount. Don't be scared to add more! Notice how none of the options were to sell. People who sell are only hurting themselves in the future. YOU ONLY LOSE WHEN YOU SELL. I know there's a time and a place for everyone financially, but panicking on a day to day basis is a bad way to go about investing.
