This year, I did a major overhaul of my budgeting spreadsheet. I honestly don't like it as much as my previous one, but my wife participates more and despite me alone being less efficient, we are much faster together and she participates a lot more. I'm guessing that's still a positive change and a win.

I'm focusing more and more on threads these days. Why? My account with 12 followers gets more action than I get on X these days. If the trend continues, I may very well switch over to Meta verified. One thing I love there, people aren't concerned with bullshit like follower-to-following ratios, or other stupid stuff like that. People post, people interact, people connect, you know, basically what Elon had promised us. I'll still be here an hopefully things will get better!

@joecarlsonshow Meta has nowhere near the retail shareholders Tesla has and institutionals work on 3-month financial results. Different investor base, different reactions.

Tesla will endlessly delay products for over a decade and the stock will rocket to new highs with a 200 PE. Meta delays a product for 2 months and sells down to a 20 PE while growing 5x as fast as Tesla. This is the market we’re in today.

@Smartnetworth1 It’s tougher, but a better approach. I do know people with no next of kin that want to burn through most their investments in their retirement. Different people, different objectives.

The 4% retirement rule is outdated. The new approach is building your cash flow and never having to sell any shares. Live off the cash flow of your portfolio.

@DillonLoomis Cars was easy to understand. B2B for energy is not as easy to notice. I think people are also disappointed with the robotaxi rollout and expected it to scale faster.

I'm realizing more and more the reason some Tesla followers seem to be disillusioned with the company is because they genuinely do not understand a majority of the next-gen tech Tesla is working on You cannot appreciate and get excited about that which you cannot comprehend

@josefbender_ Yes, he has a system in place, his videos come from his streams that he cuts. Also, it’s years of his experience and mastery of the topics at hand. He’s obviously also a good speaker, this develops with experience too.

Please don't take this in a negative way, but: How can someone how so much to say? Like every youtube video I publish take a few days in preparation, and these are in my niche and mostly under 10 mins. How does Theo pop out a LONG (~1 hour) video every second day ? Is this a skill that can be learned?

We just had ice rain overnight. Instead of having to scrape like mad, I can simply tell my @Tesla to defrost itself. Small quality of life features add up and make a difference for products!
