I had a couple months where I couldn't responsibly put time into gamedev, but I should theoretically be able to continue to get a few hours of work on this and another project now that things have settled down a bit. :) So more to show soon, I hope!

A few months ago, Cocophany released an asset pack called Bloomseed. I fell in love immediately and knew I needed to make a game with it. I set about getting it all set up in Gamemaker (auto-tiling, animations, etc.) and now have the beginnings of a game going!

@PoeGhost1 I am terribly sorry if this is not a widely used term, but I was merely going off the Wikipedia description of the phone. I have heard both "flip phone" and "clamshell phone" used and in such cases of ambiguity, defer to Wikipedia for my wording. I hope this is acceptable!

Certain models of the 2003 Motorola MPx200 clamshell phone contained a ringtone that was blatantly just the "Fever" theme from Dr. Mario with different notes.

@Coffeeshock_S @SpillTheMemes Agreed! Also, listen to the radio dramas. They're even better than I expected. Afterwards, the movie and the show can be enjoyed as novelties, but certainly best if they aren't the primary interaction.

@SpillTheMemes Why watching the movie, when you can read the books? I definitively recommend to read the "trilogy in five parts" of the Hitchhikers Guide and skip the movie. For real.

Turns out too many people got confused by my paywall in Hour by Hour so I'm going to have to redesign it 😭 Sharing it here so it doesn't disappear for all eternity, I really enjoyed building it.

Maybe I'll try to keep a small part of the joke but make it less confusing. Some testers thought it was an actual price picker or that it was genuinely down to luck or something 😔
