@angelaundead Can I book an appointment to get one bag of blood withdrawn every 3 weeks? I got polycythemia Vera and therefore produce an excess amount of blood so. You look way nicer to be around than the nurse who usually does it do.

*deep breath* Waldenstrom's Macroglobulinemia I literally thought I was being punked when they told me lol. It's a super rare and incurable blood cancer but is relatively manageable. I'll have to go back for more chemo/treatment at some point but I'll cross that bridge when I get to it. 😊

@Renmakesmusic I suffer with polycythemia Vera it's nothing like you go through but when my red bloods are high my heart works 10x harder than it should and I feel like I'm about to collapse end of...I'm so tired of it when it comes back it hits me..you are strong you are ren x get well soon

@Fynnderella1 So concerning to me given what I've seen happen w/ my husband's blood. Although he received J & J his blood was so abnormal he was diagnosed w/ Polycythemia Vera. It was 2ndary PV that has resolved but he still has an elevated D Dimer years later. Blood supply is not safe.

I have so many people telling me to take an iron supplement but I have the weirdest labs. I have abnormally high hemoglobin and hemocrit with incredibly low ferritin, which makes supplementing tricky without knowing my actual iron numbers. My doctor still doesn’t know what’s causing it lol, it’s been popping abnormally high for a year now

@NateB_Panic My husband has polycythemia vera . His hematologist ran every standard and genetic test available and still has no idea why. It’s very very slow and seems easily managed with phlebotomy. So far. I hope they do find some answers to the uptick in young people, for sure. 😢
