@CenterPoint next step? Reported the line down for the second time. Assessment completed. Day 5. We prepared for Beryl...not for Centerpoint, what looks like now, more than 5+ days without power...I live w/two senior citizens, luckily they have energy in them, they just HOT!

@Overstock I live in the house I grew up in, which was built in 79/80. We have a small dining area and small living room. I stay with my dad and uncle. I would purchase an affordable dining room table and chairs along with an affordable sofa with two recliners.

Teachers should not have to work well beyond contracted hours (unpaid) just to get things done. Then we wonder why there is a 50% attrition every 5 years. This year will be off the charts if we don’t change expectations. We need state and district leaders to step up for teachers.
