This term, Massie has voted with the GOP 77.7% of the time. That rate is much lower than the median GOP congressman, who voted with the party 95% of the time.
Massie's rate of voting with the Republicans is also lower than his own record in the last term (91%), which itself was lower than the term before that (95%).
You can like Massie. You can think he's right to buck the party. But you can't deny the trend, and you can't deny the VP's observation.

This is how the algorithm can completely destroy your reach over night. This is the last: Left: 3 months Right: 2 weeks Super consistent 85-95% drop on all metrics. everything after a viral post going ballistic, I tried everything, cool down, delete low quality posts, block bot accounts. Kept posting after cool down, nothing really breaks through. Short hot takes 🛑 Long form with good signal 🛑 Viral potential post 🛑 Core audience value post 🛑 What bothers me here is that 48h after posting a mega viral post I get suppressed back to the Stone Age. This follow previous situations I’ve had with the grok powered algorithm. Where it feels like tweepCred falls far below a certain level, and you’re locked into a low reach prison with every effort to break out is making it harder and harder to do so. I’m asking for transparency on what we can do as content creators when this happens. I don’t want to spam my way out of this. I’d like to know, if I did something wrong, how I can address it, take the responsibility of algorithmic suppression for what ever the length is. But this limbo is most likely going to make me leave the platform.

Little rant about my experience as an artist and how I see AI bros' behavior
When I was a kid, I was called a gifted kid because I could draw, and it fascinated both classmates and Adults. I'm sure a lot of fellow artists had a similar experience, since it was quite rare to see irl especially before socials became so widespread. Some were envious, some simply curious, and some trying to befriend me to get free art even then.
Honestly I didn't mind the ego boost, but I noticed a repeated pattern of "I wish I could do that!" "you're so lucky you can draw" "you're so talented, unlike me", dismissing their own skills or insisting they couldn't do anything. Adults said something fun wasnt a real job, that I should think of getting a job like theirs instead.
Now in the era of AI 'art', those same persons who used to envy artists have an easy access to an illusion of talent and skill. They spit on the stolen work of every artist whose art has been fed into AI to flatter their fragile ego and look down on artists. They say artists will loose their jobs and get replaced, when they don't even understand why that's false or what it takes.
But the truth is they cope, they stay in the comfort of denial, saying THEY created the results AI give them. Saying prompting is a skill, because they want it to be one. They'd kill to do the same as artists, to have a passion, a talent, to captivate people and get praised for something they created with their own hands. To make money out of their passion.
But besides AI bros boosting each other's egos, no one will genuinely compliment AI 'art'. And if anyone did, upon learning it was AI they'll take it back because it has no value at all. It's stolen, empty, and made with no passion or love whatsoever (and probably a ton of mistakes up close too)
I just think it's sad because anyone can draw well. It just takes practice, but they're not even willing to try. Instead, they just hide behind insults and superior complex. Behind a false sense of achievement.
NO ARTIST will ever say "you have no skill, you suck" to someone genuinely trying to get into art. The art community is very welcoming, just pick up the pen and have fun with us!

At the risk of entertaining a loaded ideological argument and stating the obvious, America did not exist and it was of course not possible to be born there. These people and their constituency became America, established their culture and identity as constituting what it means to be American. It’s your channel, your art, you can add what you want. That being said, you are the only artist I see drawing art of this kind that uses them. You also add them to art that is not consensually ambiguous, or harsh. Most who complain about the stickers are doing so because it makes the art feel politically laced, not because they are problematic people.

I find it kinda crazy that people try to read more into my consent stickers than there is. No I’m not doing them out of spite, no they’re not a joke. The vast majority of my fans love them and think they add a lot of flavor to otherwise harsh scenarios.

I’m no Dawkins fanboy and don’t agree with him here, but if he doesn’t believe that consciousness is something “special”, and is simply a product of natural processes, wouldn’t it be entirely coherent for him to believe that it’s possible that humans created something conscious? As opposed to the believers take that consciousness is divinely designed and created only by God
