@BBCSport Pat is wrong, he initiated contact by initiating contact, that how. When Mane makes the tackle he doesn't touch Mbappe, who takes a heavy touch of the ball, does a half hurdle and makes sure he trips over his opponent. The ref was spot on.

@BBCSport We're slowly forgetting that football is a contact sport. Not EVERY mistimed tackle is a foul. And equally importantly, the final 3rd of the pitch hasn't any more importance than the rest of the bloody pitch! Although its definitely becoming a protected area. Referee was correct.
