WE WON!!!! History was made tonight. We made history for Floridians, for Gen Z, and for everyone who believes we deserve a better future. I am beyond thankful for the opportunity to represent my home in the United States Congress. #FL10

Gen Z voters just saved Democrats ass. Don’t forget it.

I started Organizing at 15 because I didn’t want to get shot at school.

Highland Park victim's daughter: "He shot her in the chest and she fell down, and I knew she was dead. I told her that I loved her but I couldn't stop because he was still shooting..."

The next shooter is plotting his attack right now and a couple Democratic senators are sitting on their hands like there’s nothing they can do about it when they have the power to abolish the filibuster. Fucking shameful.

Can’t go to a parade Can’t go to school Can’t go to a supermarket Can’t go to pray Can’t go to the movies Can’t go to a concert Can’t go to a nightclub Can’t go to a restaurant Can’t go to a park Can’t go to a mall There’s nowhere you can go in America to avoid gun violence

There is no life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness for the those killed every single day. No responsible gun owner, left or right wants gun violence to continue. Americans are not divided on this, it's 100 Senators. We must demand they act- we all want the same thing- safety.

I ran from a mass shooting today with my two little girls in my arms. We got separated from my wife. We hid behind a car and then sheltered in the apartment of some good Samaritans for 5 hours watching swat teams from the windows. We are all ok but we’re angry, very very angry.

Finally, to my amazing team of organizers - you guys are nothing short of dedicated and inspirational. The last two weeks were a scramble to put everything together, but you did it. You worked through every obstacle imaginable to make yesterday a success. You made it happen.

To all the volunteers - putting on a rally/March is no easy feat. We could not have done it without your tireless work and dedication yesterday. You’re all amazing.

To the @UFCW99 - you all ROCK! Thank you for making sure that people stayed safe yesterday and that we had MORE than enough water for everyone. I can’t explain how grateful we are.

To @yassaminansari - I can’t thank you enough. The moment we announced the march your team was on the phone asking how they could be of help. You stood with us and marched with us, and we won’t forget that any time soon. Thank you!

To @JenLongdon - I don’t even think I have to say it. You’re a champion of this and so many other things. I’m so honored to be able to work with you and fight this fight alongside you.

To @MarisolGarciaAZ and @ArizonaEA - we wouldn’t be anywhere near as successful if it weren’t for teachers always standing so firmly by our side, even when the leg attacks you. You’ve been a critical foundation for us since the beginning. Thank you for your unwavering courage.

To @kathyhoffman_az - thank you. Thank you for speaking out and standing with us. For years students have been begging for change, and you’ve been one of our strongest allies since the beginning. Thank you for everything.
