Every time I tweet about the importance of women saving themselves for marriage, I get pushback from women asking why I don’t direct the same message at men. Here’s why. I think about this all the time. Do I want to marry an "intellectual equal" who shares some of my interests, whom I can have dEeP cOnVeRsAtiOnS with? Or do I just want a sweetheart who is good with me and good with kids, and easy to get along with? Sometimes I crave the former, but other times the latter seems simpler. I'm not so sure a male/female relationship requires a profound intellectual connection to thrive. I often think the reverse might be true, as small ideological rifts can become more pronounced and get in the way.
