We welcome the announcement today that @EU_Commission has agreed to release part of the total 2024 funds for @UNRWA, with two additional tranches conditionally agreed. This is a positive 1st step maintaining a critical lifeline for almost 6 million Palestinians across the region.

Today, and taking into account the action taken by the @UN and the commitments required, we've decided to proceed with paying €50 million to @UNRWA and increase emergency support to Palestinians by €68 million in 2024.
