@Hi_im_Hayer no that’s so valid i’d love that too in one way or another. and we know it is possible mechanically cause of the april fools update so technically it’s always possible but it would have to be well balanced if it were added

@NuclearKino it’s possible but i wouldn’t count on something like that, especially with the smaller game drops, a full dimension feels unlikely

@bluemoss_bits A smaller example would be that one dimension April fools update, where there were infinite dimensions or something as a way to test custom dimension tools (which were added shortly after)

@bluemoss_bits They're changing the Java graphics engine and trying to put vibrant visuals in there, so it's a possibility.

@A_SuspiciousCat exactly. usually it comes in the form of a new feature so i could totally see us getting dynamic lighting in a new mob or item

@bluemoss_bits Honestly, it's a really fair point! It would be criminal for them to create such cool ideas for the April fools update and not use some parts for vanilla features. Notably, dynamic lighting for torches and other light sources.

@monksthemonkey but the announcement of sulphur cubes predate the release of this april fools update. what i’m implying is that this might me minecraft’s way to text out dynamic lighting or some other feature
