Postpartum is probably one of the tougher things I’ve gone through. I knew that it wouldn’t be easy, but I didn’t know it would be as crippling as it is.
Traumatic birth, body changes, loss of identity, new health changes, a move across the country… it hasn’t been easy. I know that it’s eventually going to be okay and that this is just a season, but I also know that this is our only son. He will only be this small once, and I’m soaking it all in. I don’t want to miss a thing, but I want the exhaustion and FOMO to end.
Maybe just send some good vibes our way, if possible. There will be more storms, there will be more chaser summits, there will be more friend meetups, and it will all be there when I’m ready.

I noticed that the ENTIRETY of my street’s sidewalks are being cleared & sanded. This morning, I saw the little sweeper car at work…and sure enough, it only skips my house. I ran out, spoke with the operator, & in awful German/gestures asked if I needed to sign up for service.

For those looking to get into the digital meteorology space I believe the untapped market is your LOCAL community. You may not cover 50 states like most streamers but you will nail difficult to pronounce town names and know local roads and landmarks. That stuff is life saving.
