CHUCK SIMON UPDATE He was admitted at Saratoga hospital. Has some vital organs issues. Doctors working to get them under control. Positive progress. Spoke with him last night. Text him to cheer him up. NEED EVERYONE PRAYERS. If we stick together will beat cancer. GOD BLESS.🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

After the huge weekend of racing, @JLatzo and I took a trip to the Utica area to explore pizza/tomato pies. The easy winner was Holland Farms. This tomato pie is $10.25. Terrific bakery items too, so I am glad it's over 90 minutes away.

Forget which baseball/sports book this anecdote was in - some years after The Big Train retired, Senators had fireballing young pitcher. Johnson’s attending game, young gun tries to impress him warming up in front of him. After a few minutes, Johnson gets out of stands, calls for catcher, starts throwing next to kid. Then starts timing it so they’re releasing the ball at the same time. Johnson’s ball is hitting catchers’ mitt first. Demoralized kid can do nothing but stop and watch.
