c) The Ministry of Health should start a countrywide consultative process to develop a Mental Health Policy to support the implementation of the new law.

b) @Parliament_Ug on resuming business in 2019 should embark on the task to develop regulations for the implementation of the new law. Although the new law pushes for community mental health services, it doesn’t provide a clear-cut framework on how this will be realized.

We have engaged the media moments ago demanding for the implementation of the new mental health law in Uganda, that was passed by @Parliament_Ug in September 2018.
