I feel we don’t appreciate our families that care about us enough. We then take them for granted. And this is why I said that. I currently have patient on ward who has no care taker at all. She is pregnant, she needs care but then she’s just alone, just her, not even a single relative to bring her food to the hospital. With this arrangement am not sure she can have all the meals a day. Currently very sick and even on blood transfusion. But in this state she is at the mercy of good people who bring her food, no bucket , no soap, no dress for herself to change after showering, no bed sheets, no clothes to receive the baby when she delivers. I mean it’s just her. No one she can tell oh am thirsty or hungry get me something. I’ve never done this but am compelled to put it here to request my online community to do something for her. Any help you can render her, can be maternity dresses, bedsheets, baby’s clothings and etc. You can reach me on my number 0702651331 for any contributions.

The initial consignment of 19,200 doses of Lanacapavir from @GlobalFund has arrived in Uganda. The drug is administered every six months to prevent HIV among persons with substantial risk of acquiring HIV. They will be distributed to high burden and high incidence districts effective March 2026.
