Singanallur Flyover - works to be begin on this month end 🛣️ 🔸New Flyover at Singanallur to Ease Traffic Congestion 🔸A new flyover worth ₹170 crore will be constructed at Singanallur, Coimbatore, and the work is expected to begin by the end of this month. 🔸The project aims to reduce the severe traffic congestion on the Coimbatore–Trichy Road, where thousands of vehicles pass every day, often leading to long traffic queues. Project Highlights; 🔹Project Cost: ₹170 crore 🔹Flyover Length: Approximately 2.4 km 🔹Width: 24 metres Configuration: 🔹4-lane flyover Structures: 46 pillars will be constructed. Additional Works: 🔹Drainage and rainwater management facilities will also be developed. 🔹The contract for the project has been finalized, and construction is set to commence by the end of this month. Expected Completion; 🔹The flyover is expected to be completed and opened to the public in 2028. 🔹Once operational, it is expected to significantly reduce traffic congestion at Singanallur and improve travel on the Coimbatore–Trichy Road.
