If your “side” is more closely aligned with reality, and you have a gentle way of guiding someone towards the truth, it’s not only possible to be friends, but to change their opinions as well. It won’t be done overnight. And some people simply will not be convinced, no matter how hard reality hits them in the face. Unfortunately, I don’t possess the patience or gentleness required with much of the public, but I have been able to share the truth with family and friends.
