I spent 2024 posting about gold mining stocks. Most of these are up 3-5x. It’s not 100x (or bust) like crypto. But risk adjusted buying cycle lows at inflection point is the best risk adjusted returns you get. Now I’m balls deep into the SaaS bear market. Who wants my top picks?

Ok time to put down the shitposting axe for a minute and be serious. Time to try to help first cyclers and whoever is hurting right now. This is painful. No asset class has been immune. Litterally nowhere to hide: just a game of losing less. Objective metrics: lowest sentiment ever recorded, lower than FTX and Luna crash, lower than covid crash. Fear and greed index at all time lows. Had the “biggest liquidation day ever” three times this year. Stocks turning deep red for the year, lots of uncertainty and a total fuckfest at the helm. Shit’s wild. On the personal anecdotes side, wich actually matter the most to me, cause I’m a but arrogant like that: more high profile trader friends quit crypto this year than my previous 7 combined. Some serious blowups on whales and small funds. Culture deteriorated faster than ever, starting with the “memecoin supercycle” bullshit exactly a year ago all the way to the Trump/Melania/Libra trifecta. Even yeah yeah sold his pfp. Other random fun facts. Luna was a speedrun from 1 billi to 0 in 5 days and we still talk about it. Zerebro went 700 milli to 0 in 4. I know cause I held both. Pain. Worst yet, basically every single alt plaid a version of this at a speed never seen before. We had these crashes before but never this fast with zero respite and zero pockets of air. None. Corn was somwhat of a safe haven till today, but now even corn wen 110 to 75: not pretty. Memes to 0 AI to 0 runes and ordinals to sub zero NFT’s actually half decent but still close to zero. VC alts to 0. And “trenches alts” below 0 in the most destructive and toxic cycle brought to you by the lowest scum substrate of pieces of shit we’ve seen around here. Ever. You know it’s bad when it makes you miss Do Kwon. At least the guy had vision. Incidentally, I’m not saying this will inevitably turn good anytime soon. When the nihilistic neogoths incel crew just kept pushing the “nothing matters it’s all going to 0 teehee just keep clicking” narrative normies look in and guess what? They ain’t playing. Not everyone’s an addict like us. I’ve been saying that culture is the culprit of our downfall for a year now. I stand by that. Until that changes, we are fucked. So what can you do? Survive.
