Canada should be focused on protecting and strengthening CUSMA, not making decisions that put it at risk. Importing 49,000 EVs from China while the U.S. bans them over security concerns doesn’t just raise serious questions, it puts our auto sector and our trade relationship in a tough spot.

@myabradshaw78 There is no verified evidence that Mark Carney got Air Canada to suspend flights. There is no public record, no gov. announcement, and no credible reporting showing that Carney instructed Air Canada to suspend US flights or Air Canada suspended flights because of fuel shortages.

Mark Carney makes no sense. Carney gets Air Canada to suspend flights between Canada and US because of fuel but turns around and states Canada is increasing flights to China. Where is Carney’s logic??

@sarobertsonca Well that would be perfect plus it could land in all the small runways in Texas. I wonder what the modern day equivalent is to this aircraft? Is this commonly used by leaders of large economies?

@sarobertsonca Ontario is a sufficiently large enough by size and economy to justify a plane for the province. We have many remote areas and underserved airports. It important that our ministers and other officials travel throughout the province and country as needed.
