Here are few ways vibe coding is useful and how it can disrupt small online tools I had to merge ~10 PPTs today , I went online tried different tools all were either login required or file limit. I had my code editor opened and typed “make a app to merge ppt” It gave working python code with a decent enough web ui in few minutes. I have been doing these things a lot if I need a small thing done instead of manually doing it i tell codex to make a app or script to automate it. Today i realized that you don’t look for tools anymore you just build exactly what you need. Vibe coding is going to quietly disrupt a lot of small online tools #vibecoding #ai #dev #automation

I've said this and I repeat it gpt-4 is when we entered AGI, from there on is a thermodynamic problem, or more simply cost, scale, and speed. From there you run a mix of parallel agents with autoresearch, MCTS, CoT, recursion (RLM), tool calls, and the model can already self-improve. Human in the loop still is the optimal solution, but as we move into Mythos and larger models, human in the loop will actually slow them down. My take is that AGI will be officially announced in 2027 as predicted by ai-2027.com. Crazy times to live in!

UPDATE: We were able to replicate the Mythos findings using existing models (GPT5.4) Writeup coming early next week, no BS prompts, it's real reproduction

I will say it again, we used GPT5.4 and Opus, and we were able to autonomously find zero-days in the Linux Kernel (in the last 3 weeks) Mythos is probably better at the task of finding potential issues in code, but imo the threshold for "scary" was reached in December or even earlier This is a great hype machine for Anthropic, especially that they plan to do IPO eoy I totally agree - this is not a new capability

France just said it out loud: “We can’t depend on foreign tech anymore.” So they’re: • leaving Windows → migrating to Linux • replacing tools with EU alternatives (Tchap, Visio, FranceTransfert) • moving sensitive data to sovereign infrastructure • pushing open standards + interoperability • forcing each ministry to cut foreign dependencies 80,000+ public workers already migrating. Full rollout plans due by late 2026. This isn’t just IT. It’s national strategy. Control the tech → control the data. Big shift. More countries will follow.
