House Democrats are trying to raise taxes again - this time by taxing unrealized gains and imposing an annual tax on Minnesotans’ net worth, not just their income.

Adjudicated? James' "crime" was asking questions of someone who was leaking information. That would make all journalists guilty for just asking questions. Even the ACLU said it was a massive government overreach. The administration didn't believe his conduct was criminal; they lied about his conduct being criminal so they could circumvent the law in the administration's favor. Besides, Trump has done nothing to Tarlov other than vent on social media, as James rightfully pointed out.

Whether it was illegal was never formally adjudicated to my knowledge, but notwithstanding the administration believed the conduct to be criminal. There is no conduct by Tarlov to be credibly considered criminal. That is the false equivalency.

If Biden or Obama had publicly called for the firing of an opposing Fox News star, their coverage would’ve been rightfully outraged at such an inappropriate pressure against press freedom. I hope they will have the same energy for Trump doing it targeting Jessica Tarlov…
