🚨 BREAKING: Incredible moment as Artemis II pilot Victor Glover shares the Gospel mere MOMENTS before reaching the back side of the Moon, losing communication with Earth
"Christ said, in response to what was the greatest command, that it was to love God with all that you are." 🙏🏻
"And he also, being a great teacher, said the second is equal to it, and that is to love your neighbor as yourself."
"And so, as we prepare to go out of radio communication, we're still going to feel your love from Earth, and to all of you down there on earth and around earth, we love you from the moon." ❤️

Y’all, @tolkienthoughts is the Tolkien account you should actually be following.
Thoughts on Tolkien@tolkienthoughts
Inevitably the people crowing about canon in Tolkien have barely read a fraction of what he has written.

@Lily4Liberty Now track how our State’s Education Systems have ill prepared, failed to educate our children. To be fair, many of our great innovations in tech came from “foreigners” who became Americans. It takes all kinds to be America”, we are a melting pot.
English

How do college students and parents feel about this?
Borrow a large loan, get a good degree in Tech and software engineering, have to compete for these jobs with foreign students.
I did not know until lately that federal government has a regulation passed in Oct. 2024 under Biden:
-- American companies can get exemptions of 15.9% payroll tax when hiring a foreign student, then continue the discount to another 2 or 3 years of OPT. Both don't pay this back later after the students get their H1-B visas.
These foreign students serve as a back door pool to H1-B visa annually without paying $100,000 fee imposed by President Trump because they are already living in the USA.
It is wrong for our government to provide financial incentives to hire foreigners over Americans. I wonder why many of our young people feel like they don't have a fair shot at their American Dream.
Please fix this @DHSgov @IRSnews @POTUS

@afringedgentian @oghofer More people should read some of its source, “The Aboltion of Man.”

@oghofer I've been thinking of the Ransom trilogy quite constantly.

@oghofer @Andrewnsnyder There’s also this line from That Hideous Strength”, “We shall fall upon your moon, wherein there is a secret evil, and which is as the shield of the Dark Lord of Thulcandra–scarred with many a blow. We shall break her.” How did Lewis craft this idea?

@thewaronbeauty Love Catholics, have walked miles together with them. “Last bastion of beauty”? Would say they’re part of it, yes. If you say “catholic church” now you’ve got something to hang a hat on. And remember…Hagia Sophia is out there.

@johnkonrad You’re not wrong. We haven’t taught history very well in the US. I will share your thoughts on this. Thanks.

NATO is in far bigger danger than anyone realizes. And the reason has nothing to do with defense budgets.
The real danger is psychological. It’s cultural.
Europeans didn’t just free-ride on American security for 80 years. They built an entire identity around the idea that they evolved past the Americans protecting them.
That identity is now the single biggest obstacle to Western survival. And the darkest irony is: we helped build it.
After World War II, Europe wasn’t just economically shattered. Its culture was in ruins. The cities, the universities, the concert halls, the museums. Rubble.
The Marshall Plan rebuilt the economy. But culture wasn’t a priority. Not at first.
Then the Iron Curtain dropped. And suddenly culture became a weapon.
American diplomats, academics, artists & scholars flooded Western Europe. We funded their universities. Supported their orchestras. Rebuilt their museums. Promoted their intellectual life.
Not because European culture needed saving for its own sake.
Because Eastern Europeans were struggling for Maslow’s mist basic needs.
We needed the view from the other side of that Wall to be intoxicating.
So America built Western Europe into a showcase of self-actualization. Art. Philosophy. Cafe culture. Long vacations. Universities where people studied literature instead of surviving.
We were manufacturing jealousy.
And it worked. The Wall came down.
But here’s what no one accounted for.
When you give a society self-actualization on someone else’s tab long enough, they forget it was a gift. They start believing it was organically theirs.
And when they look at the country that funded it all, a country busy building aircraft carriers and semiconductor fabs and shale fields instead of reaching the Maslow’s pinnacle.
An overweight American in a ball cap who can’t tell Monet from Pissarro. Who eats fast food. Who drives a truck. Who builds strip malls instead of piazzas.
And to a culture trained in aesthetics but stripped of strategic awareness, that American looks uncivilized.
So the arrogance takes root. And once a culture decides another is beneath them, they stop listening.
Americans say wars are sometimes necessary: crude.
Oil is the backbone of prosperity: unsophisticated.
Kids build companies in garages that reshape the planet: crass.
Wall Street finances the global economy: vulgar.
Europe has no world-class technology sector. No military capable of strong defense. No energy independence. No AI capacity.
What Europe has is culture. The culture we paid for at the expense of us reaching Maslow’s pinnacle.
For decades that was fine. We funded the museums, protected the sea lanes, and tolerated the sneering because the arrangement worked.
Then Europeans stopped keeping the contempt private. They started saying it to our faces. In their media. In their parliaments. At every international forum. “Americans are stupid.
Americans are violent. Americans are a threat to democracy.”
We could have moved the Louvre to NY. We could have built a Venice here. We could have stolen your best artists, designers, philosophers and more… like your conquering armies did for centuries.
Instead we funded them. And all we asked for in return was to let us visit.
You don’t have the military to defend your borders. You don’t have the technology to compete. You don’t have the energy to heat your homes without begging dictators.
What you have is an 80-year superiority complex FUNDED BY AMERICANS, protected by American soldiers, and built on the false belief that self-actualization is civilization.
It isn’t. Civilization is the ability to sustain itself. By that measure, Europe isn’t a civilization at all. It’s a dependency with better wine.
That’s not a threat. It’s a weather report.
Build a Navy. Or don’t. But stop lecturing the people who made you “better than us”
Our “crudeness” our “stunted liberal education” our “ugly strip malls” are because we sacrificed our culture to support yours.

“So, let's get this straight. You changed the bidding rules on the first phase?”
“Yes, because the contractor we wanted failed the technical score. Eliminated.”
“And this contractor, his nickname is "The Change-Order Artist" ... he is, in fact, notorious for ripping off the state of California?”
“Oh sure, it's a whole business model. Partners with Richard Blum for years. You know, Feinstein's husband.”
“OK. So, there were experienced bidders who had actually built HSR, who had core competency and a delivery record.”
“Sure. But Ron's a big donor, you see. He also took a bath buying Miramax, so it was a way for the party to funnel some money back to him. Aside from the film tax credits, obviously. Jerry Brown pulled some strings.”
“And the change orders?”
“Not even any documentation needed. They tried an audit back in 2018, they found change orders for tens of millions of dollars without documentation. Easy money. Now they're sealing the records.”
“They're ... sealing the records?”
“People are starting to ask too many questions now, the public get antsy once you get up to half a billion dollars in a single change order, so the IG is going to shield the records. It might "harm the state" if people see them, haha.”

I’m up in the middle of the night and am about to go back to sleep. But seeing the news of this pilot being rescued after one of the most daring rescue operations in history has me motivated beyond belief.
To the media and the haters who’ve been obsessed with palace intrigue stories. Trying to sow division and calling for the heads of our leaders. I hope this news hurts. I hope it hurts a lot.
I have my finger on the pulse of the information machine these days. And what I’ve seen over the past 48 hours is the weaponization of said machine.
Bots, grifters, and partisan hacks all working in unison literally rooting for our failure. Rabid. Drooling. Damn near praying to satan for our own pilot to be killed or captured.
Hyenas, the lot of them. All cheering against America.
While they’ve all been groaning like demons for the heads of our leaders and warriors, people like @PeteHegseth, @SeanParnellASW and others have just been busily…. doing the job to get our guy back.
Nothing I type here will matter at 0300. But when the world wakes up in a few hours, it’ll see the fruits of merit based leadership at echelon. All the way down the chain.
An Airman safely home after evading capture for over a day. An epic rescue that will be remembered for generations. Millions inspired by the shear power and conviction of the United States military. And millions more disappointed by it, because they were praying for our national embarrassment.
I’m not sorry you’re witnessing a competent war machine in action.
I’m not sorry that our leadership will never leave anyone behind.
I’m not sorry for any hurt feelings caused by this.
Because you were never on our team anyway.
God Bless America.🇺🇸

Easter Eve is traditionally the time of the Harrowing of Hell, when Christ descended into the underworld and set its captives free. This story inspired many powerful retellings in medieval literature and art, including this majestic Anglo-Saxon poem: aclerkofoxford.blogspot.com/2015/04/open-w…

Flashback: 13-years-old girl in Somalia was raped by a grown Muslim man. Instead of punishing him, the Islamic Sharia court sentenced HER to death.
t.co/DWR1YrZlFR
Why? Because her Muslim attacker—a married man—claimed she had “seduced” him by simply existing in public. The local Islamic court agreed and ruled that she was guilty of adultery.
Hundreds of Muslim men gathered to stone her to death in cold blood. They laughed, cheered, and shouted “Allahu Akbar” while she screamed in agony and begged for mercy.
🚨 THIS is Sharia justice. THIS is what “progressives” defend when they push Islamic law as a legitimate legal system. 🚨

While my thoughts and prayers are with my brother or sister airman who is fighting for their lives right now, waiting for the blessed sight of the SAR operators, I feel the need to caution the experts and media to please STFU! Now is not the time to feed your egos by advertising your indie knowledge. Now is not the time to expand on the tech specs of the aircraft, nor what training we receive as combat aircrew members. There is a bounty on this person's head, and we need to give them EVERY chance to return to us.
To the loved ones of those who are deployed. Be proud, but be quiet. You never know who is gathering names, dates, units, etc. Just because things aren't classified doesn't mean they should be spoken of openly. Let's help this brave warfighter return with honor.
