From a xenobiology point of view - a ship is a non carbon lifeform. More specifically it's a purposed non autonomous organism.
It makes better sense when you realize that it's effectively as complex in biological function as a bacteria, just billions of times it's size.

@matpolloy Pretty sure i saw some TCW behind-the-scenes segment where they talked about this. Writers didn't really know how to to deal with him being explicitly shown to execute Order 66 without question in RoTS. So using him more in the show would humanise him too much or smth.

Who exactly is supposed to do the communist revolution? The soldiers arent allowed, they are too evil, the working class isnt allowed, they are all mini hitlers, and the farmers cant either for the same reason. Is the revolution supposed to be entirely college kids?

@posting_forever Also, apparently the harry potter films were all shot on 35mm film. It may come as a surprise to the people that are still obsessed with Harry Potter, but 70mm is twice the size of 35mm, which means IMAX scans will always be more detailed.
