@tobyasky @omoyorubadboi Makes no sense, sometimes you have to understand managers. Someone was playing that position in this competition before Lookman came in. Keeping players happy is one of the reasons he has lasted over 14 years at the club.

Here goes another "first class people na by cramming" evangelist.
Even 25+ years after these guys graduated, working in top global firms like PwC and Procter & Gamble and local companies like First Bank and CBN, Mr Joshua still thinks their excellence in school was still by cramming.

Slight addition: graduating with a 1st class does NOT give anyone a free pass, blank cheque, or carte blanche. From the two (2) OAU Ife Accounting 1st Class graduates mentioned, here’s my honest assessment: • One is grossly incompetent, unable to complete his national assignment, and annoyingly inept at his job. The MDA he leads is worse off than he met it. • The other is highly competent, hugely successful in his national assignment. Nigerians and staff of his organization praise him daily for reinventing our taxation system. • Mr. T (the Tax Man), associated with one, changed our tax laws, gained national prominence, international recognition, and has since been appointed Minister of the Federal Republic. Which leads me to the conclusion that graduating with a 1st class does NOT give anyone a free pass. We remember most of them from school. Most of them, the secret to their success was CRAMMING.

I was the loudest amongst my classmates rooting for then General Muhammadu Buhari as the President of Nigeria, after his victory, I bought snacks & “Minerals” (Picture attached) for my classmates to share- late 2016, I realized that Man’s taking us to nowhere, I “clocked it” that very early, became apolitical & stopped afterwards investing my emotion on any aspirant/candidate. The 2015 election was the last time I campaign for any candidate too, okay, I supported Sowore in 2019 anyway, even though I wasn’t able to vote as an INEC Adhoc staff.
