@eric_rathmann @Bbmorg Not because of NATO obligations. It was retaliation for the Houthis attacking a British destroyer and because the US wasn't threatening to annex Greenland for months prior. Having good relations with your allies actually means something, someone should have told Trump.

NATO is about mutual defence not mutual aggression.

@Marty_prr @Bbmorg OK. But that seems unfortunate. I remember France and Lafayette as well as Gen Steuben. Many are acting as if Trump ruined a lot for the rest of history rather than a temporary person, gone shortly, and most of his actions are easier overturned. We should remember and move on.

Trump capitulates on his war aims and loses the conflict with Iran, achieving an outcome significantly worse and more costly than Obama’s Iran deal. Meanwhile, Europeans:

@notcapnamerica Let's not forget that Biden put the US into 3 wars and all had ties to Iran. 2023 Gaza. 2024 Hezbollah, 2024 Houthis led by IRGC. 20 or so countries join us in the Houthis war but thought it was acceptable to be in a war in the beginning but back out when it got complicated.

So let me see if I understand this correctly. Barack Obama negotiated a deal with Iran that lifted sanctions on their country and exchange for international monitoring of their weapons program along with several other concessions. Donald Trump came into office and unilaterally blew up that deal. Now a decade leader in his second term, Donald Trump has without the approval of Congress initiated an unprovoked military attack on Iran, and in order to end said conflict is demanding Iran comply with a number of self serving proposals, many of which were already covered under Obama’s initial deal. Did I leave anything out?

@VeryBrexitProbs So it is not true that Montgomery was an arrogant asshole who had trouble adapting to, or coordinating with, Americans despite the Supreme Commander being an American? I think USSR won the war with minimal help from the rest of Europe.

@AntiLeftMemes They stopped being liberal c. 40 years ago. Hate calling them progressive as they support some very old thinking. Simply Democrats is probably the best. They have always been a collection of special interest groups, ever changing.

@newbAnarchist @MichaelPet7656 @TheAliceSmith I have always enjoyed working and never paid much attention to pay. Human like challenges, mostly by sports or other competitions and I got it partly from work. How much money does a person need? Did a lot of volunteer work before disabilities.
