would love to see the dev data that they showed to the balance department to justify this. Outside of certain keybinds and actions almost everything is doable on controller. Range doesnt even matter as much, long-range almost never exist outside of niche cases. Out of touch.

@abeautifulsyn @luckychappy_ I'm a 3+ k/d m&k player in my preferred game, I don't need AI to lock on to people for me. I'm just saying in general terms games should just do a better job with balancing this stuff. I am good as a m&k player, but I know I would be better if I switched inputs, which is sad.

Update: On April 29, 2026, I emailed former AARO Deputy Director Tim Phillips copies of the conflicting statements regarding a purported Sean Kirkpatrick-Tim Gallaudet meeting in Kirkpatrick's AARO office. Phillips responded, "Sean’s version of the event is true, believe the meeting was in 2023." Phillips also told me he had been present for that face-to-face meeting. I also queried Kirkpatrick regarding the conflicting claims about a face-to-face meeting in his office at AARO (which was a SCIF) with Gallaudet. Kirkpatrick's response appears in the graphic below.

@luckychappy_ If you have any experience in any shooter you know that close range fighting is a lot more important than long range. That's where your team gets wiped. And controller has a massive edge.

@espenvs_ They are balanced, one is FAR superior at long range, and ones better at close range. As stated. Besides, there’s no point complaining when YOU choose what you use… 🙄 It’s literally that simple.

Just finished Detroit-Orlando. I get people are going to clown Orlando, and their offensive execution this year hasn't earned them the benefit of the doubt. But man, I think that was more about Detroit's desperation and on-ball defense. Plus Ausar everywhere in help. Unreal.
