I LOVE coffee and espresso and need an upgrade on the at home nespresso. I don’t want faff and all the cleaning. Buttons only please. What is the best? Help me X.

Got it (and sorry for the delay here). This is totally a gap on behalf, but one that we'll be closing in the not-too-distant future. Two key developments we're thinking about: - Heartbeat monitoring / pingdom-esque checks so you can automatically display uptime, latency, etc. - Additional status page checks, so you can automatically show the status of services/companies you depend on. Will keep you posted!

@CodeWizard @evnsio @upstatsystem Exactly the gap. Monitoring and status pages live in separate tools, so you become the glue layer manually relaying state. The fix is monitors directly controlling status components — check fails, page goes degraded, users notified. No human in the loop during incidents.

@ouraring please can you fix some basics of activity detection? You know my location, and suggesting “Downhill skiing” as an activity when I was riding a bike in sunny California seems like such a miss for an otherwise epic product.

I mean it sounds like you've already got a lot of it covered. I've played around with a few apps like this and they all handle generic urls fine, but configuring endpoints specifically to your usecase is something I've not seen much on. I use incident .io at the moment and it's "fine". But leaves a lot to be desired so I'm always looking for an alternative. Maybe it can be yours 👀

Writing a post-mortem shouldn’t require a memory test. Our new post-mortem editor puts incident context and built-in AI right where you’re writing, so the story comes together without the tab shuffle. See what other features we've added: go.incident.io/bDkof50

@GergelyOrosz @incident_io This is true. They're great folks to have on our cap table, and always looking for ways to help. Asking them to make our pager notifications was a no brainer, but they've helped close candidates too. Genuinely super smart guys.

FFS. 30 mins of debugging why the code that was working last night now doesn't work this morning, and it turns out ServiceNow hibernated my dev instance. Truly a joy to develop with SNow.

If you're having a peaceful night of on-call and happen to see this, you might want to go and check your alerting systems. There's a PagerDuty incident ongoing for over an hour, and impacting notification delivery.
