I was told that Hong was running a completely unmoderated loony leftie campaign but it turns out her only transgression was saying “I believe in a better future” and she’s actually running on what is now a pretty standard Democratic pitch (which is somehow still too radical)

@exactlyindeed @envisionedluna I agree. Him being a billionaire did hurt his perception but that primary was inundated with too many low polling candidates who refused to drop out and endorse to lock out the GOP. His policies though were quite solid, and it’s a shame he lost by less than 2%

I went to Connie Chan’s campaign headquarters on election night. It was at the Local 6, The Electricians Hall. It was filled with immigrant Hotel workers and Building trades people. In other words, working class people. This is just a f*cking word salad.

I'm proud to back Connie Chan for Congress to represent San Francisco and plan to do everything I can to help her win. She is the only candidate in this race who takes no corporate money, who supports a wealth tax on billionaires, and who will vote to end all military aid to Israel - offensive and defensive.
We must break the stranglehold of corporate money in Congress, and Connie will be a part of the movement to do exactly that.
