Amazon FBA X has been very quiet since the year started… Did everyone quit? Or are sellers just having a rough start to 2026? Feels very different compared to previous years.

@SaulSellsStuff Quick question, just placed order for the ASIN I will be using for the ungate. If I get through the brand for approval, it is safe to sell the ASIN at a loss on Amazon right? Amazon will sell it best

I need to ungate a competitive brand but the only way I’ll be able to meet the 100 unit criteria is through AMAZON BUSINESS I forgot where I heard this but isn’t against seller ToS to use my amazon seller account while creating a AMAZON BUSINESS account? Furthermore, am I in the clear of utilizing AMAZON BUSINESS to meet ungating requirements, using their invoice, then returning the items back? I swore I heard that you can’t use same email from seller account for AMAZON BUSINESS. Inputs appreciated. @SaulSellsStuff @cleartheshelf I feel like you both would know answer so tagging you haha

@BuyHoldCollect Everyone been saying Abitrage is dead, I doubt it. If Seller Challenge is still a thing, each acc violation will be beat easily. Ive had 2 Inauthentic Complaints beat with this. An American Account Rep knows Kohls is an authorized retailer lol

@cleartheshelf My friend got ungated with SPIRIT HALLOWEEN pretty easily, maybe it could be same for the brand I am trying. I got ungated with CARTER’S after like 10 attempts haha

@fbasoles Im in lock step with Saul on this one. Especially for returns. I’ve also heard it’s harder to get ungated using Amazon these days. But, it’s just harder overall and that could be the issue.

@SaulSellsStuff Thanks for your advice. And even if I use different email, it is okay to use my main seller account address for ungating correct? I will sell it at a loss, I don’t mind. Don’t want to risk it all

You can create an Amazon business account for ungating or A2A. Best practice would be to use a different email than your seller account. As far as returning I am very anti returning anything to anyone unless what you receive is incorrect or broken. Amazon especially will suspend your buying account for what they consider too many returns. Consider it an investment in your business, sell them for a loss if needed and move forward with the hopeful ungate. You’ll more than make your money back if you unlock the brand.

Sorta. I first tested to see if it’s able to follow specific instructions: 1. Extract Walmart SellerSnap CSV 2. Identify COG in MSKU 3. Make MIN -$5 from Listed Price, MAX 20% increase from Listed Price I ran through and it did make some mistakes like inputing data in wrong columns. But honestly, the more descriptive you are with the task, the better you will do

Final Update: Brand direct account secured just over 8 months after my initial tweet on this. It took about a dozen follow ups and some serious effort but finally landed it. The main selling point that convinced them was the very clear increase in revenue I generated from bringing back old listings (as an unauthorized arbitrage seller).

@TonyGainzzz Sell the item at the same range of price of previous sold units, for certain products use free shipping for some dont, its pretty straightforward compared to amazon

One of these days I’d like to sit down with someone who’s a master at EBay and Pay them, so they can teach me their systems so I can build my eBay store. I’m not necessarily looking to grow the store, I’m just trying to use it efficiently so I can liquidate Wrong/gated inventory from Amazon business which is piling up quite a lot. There has to be a way to create a system so my VA can handle it with no more than 30-60 min work a week. Anyone want $?
