A national maternity investigation has been launched — and Health Secretary @wesstreeting has publicly acknowledged what so many of us have been raising for years: systemic failure, trauma, and ongoing inequalities in care. The government’s own press release states that Black and Asian women still face worse outcomes, and outlines a new anti-discrimination programme. These words matter — but they must be followed by real, lasting change.
