@ThomasByrneTD @TCDLawSchool Does Aoife believe Ireland should only undertake military missions abroad under a UN mandate or would she prefer that we follow orders from the Brussels cabal who have made no effort to mediate a settlement in Ukraine over the last 4 years. The death toll is now in the millions!

I want to offer a massive congratulations to Prof Aoife Nolan, on her election to the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child. Having known Aoife since our days spent at @TCDLawSchool, I know that her commitment, values and integrity will add great value to the UN Committee.

@bundeskanzler You are causing more problems than you are solving. Look at the state of your economy and you want to throw more money at Ukraine.! Give up. Fold up your NATO tent and leave office.

The Triple Lock is a blunt instrument that limits Ireland’s ability to set our own foreign policy. No other country has such a mechanism in place. It should be removed.
Helen McEntee TD@HMcEntee

Speaking yesterday on @RTERadio1 about the Triple Lock and why the Government is proposing changes. At its core, this is about ensuring decisions on where Irish Defence Forces personnel serve are made in Ireland, by Ireland’s elected representatives.

@bundeskanzler What do you think of the glorification of Nazism by Zelensky? Are you not even the slightest bit embarrassed or are you looking at this as an opportunity to fight WW2 but this time you intend to win? Many Germans say they are ashamed of you. You are awakened the dark German past.

@SimonShaw912543 @sinnfeinireland Who are they protecting us from? Their enemies? The British are not our friends while they conduct proxy wars and regime change operations in contravention of international law. It is widely accepted that the Royal Navy were integral to the destruction of Nordstream 2.

Neutrality has served our country and our people well. Irish citizens take immense pride in our Defence Forces' long-standing record as impartial peacekeepers across the globe. The Government's plans to remove the Triple Lock and further erode Irish neutrality are reckless and deeply misguided. If Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael are so confident in what they're doing, then put it to the people and call for a referendum.

Overnight, Russia attacked a Türkiye-owned dry cargo vessel in the Black Sea. And it did so right after a high-level Turkish visit to Russia. A clear demonstration that Russia’s words cannot be trusted. Russia remains the main threat to the Black Sea security and prosperity. @UA_NAVY rescued the crew, Turkish and Indian nationals. Unfortunately, one Egyptian crew member was killed in this attack. Russia also attacked other two vessels under flags of Palau and Belize, they have been damaged, but their crews unharmed. We are informing all states and organisations about this brazen attack on international law and freedom of navigation. It requires strong and principled responses from the international community and the International Maritime Organisation.

I try to take a balanced look at the question of Russian military reconstitution after this war, the problems and enduring weaknesses in the force, but also how it has evolved and expanded in ways that we need to consider in future contingencies. foreignaffairs.com/russia/next-ru…

The Western press is first in line to cover smoke over Moscow — but Ukraine bombing a bus full of kids is completely ignored. “The problem with asking the questions is you get answers that are very uncomfortable.” — @RealScottRitter And just like that, Western audiences know about a slight oil complication in Russia, but remain completely unaware that they helped sponsor a bus bombing that left a person dead. Watch FULL here: bitchute.com/video/kTBu0Ne3…
Rick Sanchez@RickSanchezTV

What's really important is that Russia is winning where it actually matters — on the battlefield. Ukraine can still launch drones and it can still create headlines. But Russia is already working on that problem, and headlines won’t help if you’re actively losing ground. And that is why Zelensky is now trying to provoke Belarus: not because it changes the situation in Donbass, but because it may create a pretext for Europe to get involved. Watch the FULL conversation with @RealScottRitter here: bitchute.com/video/kTBu0Ne3…

@RickSanchezTV The King is the head of the Church of England as well as being the head of state. With no written constitution either it certainly doesn't scream democracy. It would rival Iran!

“The new guy Burnham is a Roman Catholic…” Galloway shocked me with this, he will be the first. “That’s how deep-rooted anti-Catholicism is in the British state.” “A member of the royal family cannot marry one, and no British PM until this one coming up.” “Because of the balls of Henry the VIII” — Galloway breaks it down. You got to hear this!
Rick Sanchez@RickSanchezTV

George Galloway blasts Keir Starmer’s selective outrage over antisemitism while turning a blind eye to the suffering of others. He points to Starmer ignoring “hundreds of thousands of Palestinian children” killed in Israeli aggression, as well as those slaughtered by Ukrainian strikes. Exposing his compassion as nothing more than a scripted performance. “If you can’t cry for other people’s children, then you’re no man at all.” Full interview on Sanchez Effect.

@DanMulhall All you ever worry about is what will happen if we annoy the Americans. You have been warning us for years about it and Putin is supposed to be the bad guy but it's fine to annoy him! In fact it's becoming compulsory. Freedom and democracy ain't what it used to be!

This makes sense. The Bill is a symbolic gesture of support for the Palestinians. Even if we banned all trade with Israel, it would not materially benefit the Palestinian cause. Concerted EU action would be far more effective. We ought to continue working for that, but we cannot afford to ignore potential negative consequences for us stemming from the OTB.

A sovereign Ukraine in the EU is Russia's worst-case scenario. New report with Ukraine's CCD: 244,000 publications. 1.39 billion views. 80 EU incidents. Official voices set the narrative. Anonymous channels amplify it. Local accounts make it feel homegrown link.europa.eu/x7MKDk

Dependence on imported fossil fuels leaves our economies exposed. And citizens are paying the price. Electrification turns dependence into resilience. We will soon table our proposal to boost electrification across Europe. And today's Leaders' Statement sets the course towards COP31. The global movement has begun. Europe can lead it. link.europa.eu/X4PdHP

Russia under pressure on the battlefield, in its economy and now Moscow feeling the effects of the war. Anchorage and Istanbul were both attempts to get Ukraine to surrender. Different circumstances now as Ukraine much stronger and Russia much weaker. x.com/Gerashchenko_e…

Africa is not looking to fight the West. Spanish/Portuguese speaking America is not looking to fight the West. And they all get along reasonably well with each other.
