@jacks_works @Taumaturg_iv maybe they offered to keep some of the volunteer's old features to make her not fully develop autotopagnosia or something? I give some of my robots tits because the female body is usually something that humans are more comfortable and less off put by working with

Using this old funny haha sketch because dont have anything more serious atm. Im curious what do you guys overall think of creature/robot chars designed in anthro fashion featured next to real people in realistic setting? It was something I, for a long time, tried to justify in my setting but I as never sure if the explanation is too flimsy. Im not interested in leaving those big things to be explained "just because its cool" - I was always aiming for a more intricate and reasonable explanation which could theoretically be plausible in real life, albeit I understand some extreme circumstances may be necessary. All my AI robots chars are obviously not human looking ( and im not interested to make them human as it's boring visually ). in the setting no robot is allowed to look like human and must have over distinct features to tell a machine apart from a human ( in that setting they are fully capable for making blade runner style replicants ) - the reason is legal, passed cilil legislations for public safety - an assumed civil pushback against robots blending in with people as it can introduce all sorts of dangers in the long run, up to easily committed acts of terrorism. to mitigate it you could just have ultra surveillance and scanners everywhere but there was enough pushback so human looking androids are just not a thing, planet wide. when it comes to my characters like Jane, Mia and etc - they are not ordinary robots though - in the settings they are for the lack of a better terms living machine people, soul and everything ( at least there is no functional difference other then them being synthetic ). as they are technically people too from a psychological stability standpoint one would ant a face to at least feel alive and not be confined to a visual metal box head - so the look is a legal compromise - doesnt look like human, looks distinct, looks alive, looks pretty as a bonus. this is kinda a short version of the reasoning but I would like you to poke at this and share your thoughts what are other ideas I could consider or how I can enrich/improve what I already have.

@SofaMods A naval engagement was won by venting out frozen waste and the pursuing vessel had impacted into it.

@erorr58449 I don't even make them, I comm them out by some modelers. I've drawn up some, but I dont think any that I've drawn have been modeled yet. I'm getting Staevik stuff done ATM though
