Is a police officer more or less expected to follow the law? Is a priest or pope more or less duty-bound by baptism? If Leo loved Our Lord and the Church, he would resign in favor of a chance to have a leader who believes in the Holy Trinity enough that he excludes false gods. But it's not about love is it? It's not about Faith or Truth or Love, it's about defilement, syncretism, deism, compromises, hedonism, and synodality. The head of the Jesuits was allowed to be an initiated Buddhist; JP2, Francis and Leo welcome every religion to their stonecutter aprons except the ones that hold the faith of their own grandparents. The pachahama receives human sacrifice- look at the compostiton of today's "Academy of Life" it's all pretty open if you care to seek the Truth. Most aren't. They want comfort and their adult funeral in white, not the Cross. We could ask Cardinal Pell, but look what happened to him. cf. "Lord of the World" (Benson, 1907)
Kennedy Hall@kennedyhall

I know people are worried about the Pachamama thing Pope Leo did in 1995... but he was following Pope John-Paul II's example... You can't expect a priest to be "more Catholic than the Pope".

@LilaGraceRose @lilaroseshow "Men don’t need sex" is true, but it is an answer to a wrong question. The question should be "does a MARRIAGE need sex?". Unitive purpose of sex in marriage is not "for men" but for "the union". If you miss that point, you might easily get to wrong conclusions.

Men don’t need sex. Our culture is so hypersexualized that the idea of a celibate priest leaves people in disbelief—as if it’s impossible. That’s heartbreaking. Have we really forgotten that self-control and virtue are within reach? Look at Jesus Christ. The most perfect man to ever walk the earth was celibate and sinless before He was crucified for our sins. Shouldn’t He be the supreme model for manhood? Self-mastery. Discipline. Total self-gift—all out of love. Priests choose celibacy so their hearts can belong entirely to God. As St. Paul writes in 1 Corinthians 7:32-35: “I want you to be free from anxieties. The unmarried man is anxious about the things of the Lord, how to please the Lord. But the married man is anxious about worldly things, how to please his wife, and his interests are divided... I say this for your own benefit... to secure your undivided devotion to the Lord.” Abstinence isn’t just for priests—intermittent abstinence can also be a beautiful practice within marriage if a couple has a serious reason to delay bringing a baby into the world. When practicing Natural Family Planning (NFP), spouses can grow in self-mastery, deepen their love, and remain faithful to God’s design for marriage. Christ is the model. Love is the reason. Holiness is the goal. Watch E238 of The Lila Rose Show: youtu.be/hkhX9sP9Rxk

@HumanProgress the only issue - you are not considering that the corn is not the same. corn grown on natural fertilizers was waaaay denser in nutrients that todays "artificially" grown corn. all the callories and fractions of nutrients. hence the health problems of today

Is my web app performant enough? Can it be improved and if so, how smooth can the experience be? Here is demo of just how good the experience can be. Almost all of those clicks you see, result in HTTP API calls, performing complex SQL transactions. It is a JavaScript based single page application based on custom framework. It runs on $300/month infra. You can try it yourself : RealmOfEmpires.com

@BackwardsFeet @Joeinblack so many heretical ideas get into main stream because of what some demon said at some exorcism. I dont get why it is not clear that you never trust a prince-of-lies... it is in the name 😀

The rubrics of the traditional rite of exorcism call for the priest to ask the name and number of possessing demons, when they entered, and the cause. If a celebrity exorcist is talking about conversating with a demon about anything else: 🚩🚩🚩

@edgarjbb_ Heresies tend to grow automatically too. Stupidity of people leads them naturally to all kids of wrong when they let go of the hand of Christ's body on earth. Sort of what Adam and Eve did.

It's interesting because even though communion while kneeling is rarely prevalent, I've seen the practice grow automatically in every parish that does something like this. The new parish priest came to my parish back home about four years ago and did this and literally the first mass the kneelers were available about 30-40% of the congregation received kneeling. Same in my current parish. In my school growing up nearly everyone receives while kneeling. In none of the three, there was really any pressure and barely any mention of the possibility of receiving while kneeling. The kneelers are merely *there* and their presence makes lots of people realize that receiving on their knees makes the most sense.
The Chivalry Guild@ChivalryGuild

Our pastor recently installed two kneelers at the front of the church so that parishioners can receive communion on their knees a little more comfortably and less conspicuously, if they wish. Great move because it facilitates the right conduct rather than simply exhorting it. This principle applies to just about anything: good policy should aim at making virtue less of an against-the-current effort. He also, kind of hilariously, felt the need to ask the Boomer-Caths to not make a fuss if the less casual members of the parish wish to take Communion on the tongue.
